I sooo love this soundtrack, you said earlier in the thread HF that you thought that this was the best soundtrack for one of Johnnys movie, well I'm starting to agree with you, and thats really saying something with my obsession with the OUATIM cd. I have not stopped dancing around since I've got it, it is brilliant. Love the stones, brings back too many memories, Black Betty is great and now I can't get this version outta my head. Strange Brew I love, simply for the fact that we brew our own beer and it kinda fits. Blinded By The Light is an old favourite anyway, gah whole cd brings the youth too close to home. I have to go watch Blow and find out where all the songs are played throughout the movie. I know some but not all. I am so glad I brought it ;D ;D ;D

Well I'm glad you have a positive response to it! ;D When I had Black Betty blasting on my speakers, my brother ran in screaming the lyrics at the top of his lungs, and tried to wager me into letting him borrow it. No deal man

* I just have to tell this story of when I watched it over at my friend's house-twas hilarious!!!! Well first we watched Sleepy Hollow, and my friend's dad fell asleep halfway through that on their couch. Well when the main menu came on, and the Rolling Stones played his foot started tapping to the beat!!! Hahahaha!!! It was soooo funny! We would stop it, and his foot would stop only to turn it back on and his foot would start right back up a tapping! You had to have been there!!! LOL!!! Ok..* But seriously "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by the Rolling Stones is an awesome song!!! ;D I also like "All the Tired Horses" by Bob Dylan.

Oh, I have a question about the soundtrack cover, for those of you who have it. You know on the inside cover of the CD, on the back side of the booklet, is that a picture of Johnny, or is it just a guy wearing his costume? Just curious.

It's on sale for like $8.99 at my nearby Best Buy. I don't buy from Sam Goody because apparantly it's owned by Best Buy, and they take their own merch. and raise up the price and put it up in Sam Goody, and then people would rather go to Best Buy for lower prices. Smart if you ask me!

This soundtrack was the first soundtrack and Johnny soundtrack, that I ever bought! And I've loved it ever since I got it. The songs are just amazing, and I feel like I'm in the 70's when I listen to them. Great soundtrack. HIGHLY recommended, par moi.

(Sorry, double post. ) For some reason... whenever I listen to Vanessa's 1991 version of "Walk on the Wildside," I get reminded of Blow! I really think it should have been in the movie. It just goes along with the film so well, in my opinion. I was just listening to it and I got reminded of the whole movie. Anyone agree with me or am I just weird? #shrug# LOL
