Imho, selling them is a hundred times worse than using them. Selling the drugs allows that many more people to do it or try it. It propagates the problem and develops new users. One little snort in your own home is no way near that awful. But that's my opinion. And like I said before, someone has to try it out to make sure that it's good... well, potent. And out of all those people... George would know best. Don't think I'm trying to reason away his crime. I fully believe that it was wrong, but had I been in his position (and not my own) I don't know what I would have done. I've done illegal things before. Granted, nowhere near that degree. But who hasn't sped through a school zone or downloaded a song off the internet. I know where I can speed and where I can't. I know how to break the law to my advantage. And so did George. It just so happened that his area of expertise was drugs. If you told me that I could get my daughter back if I sped down this road... I'd do it. I'd check for cops and if I didn't see any, I'd be off! And that's what George did. He knew how to do it without getting caught, and he thought the coast was clear. He just didn't expect his new friends to be hiding the cops so they could catch him. So, let me re-phrase. If you asked me right now to sell drugs to see my daughter... no. I wouldn't do it. But if were George... if I had lived his life and done his job... then I'm not sure... I might have. I just can't say with certainty.

Yeah...I guess but I mean it would be difficult to know that kind of thing before hand...then again you can't expect to get away with selling a crapload of drugs.

Basically, the tragic thing about this film was how George just kept making the wrong choices. I don't really believe in luck (though if I did I'd say his was lousy!) I picked "I'd find another way" because by the time he got to that last deal, it was clear that drugs would just keep getting him in trouble and he needed to break the cycle. Poor guy. He made bad choices and paid and paid and paid. And poor daughter, who will never know how much her dad loves her. Sigh. Johnny does the tragic characters sooooo well!

I can't watch this movie, it makes me cry. I get so deoressed after watching it, so I just don't anymore...even though at first its really funny and happy...even though morally wrong...but you know with the donde esta pot thing...thats just funny...but it's too sad for me to watch too often.
