Ok, I think in Ed Wood, he reminds me alot of Cry-Baby except he also lieks to wear women's clothing. But for real, the BIG EYES are a commen thing for each character. Ed is always doing that and Wade Walker does it alot when he's like made or talking about lightning...you know? I saw a connection anyway...

Oh My Freakin' Gosh! I totally noticed that! Well, my mom did first, but I was thinking it in my sub-conscious! Like when Cry-Baby is yelling about electricity to Allison he totally did the Ed-Yelling-About-The-Baptsists-Thing...oooheee...Johnny sure does blend lots o' his characters together in some ways....

That is becuse Johnny's characters are Johnny. He is acting a differnt side of him in his movies and the Ed Wood and Crybaby side is "side by side". Johnny was just being his self..

No that's not true. If Johnny's characters were Johnny, then he wouldn't be a good actor because he would be just acting like hiomslef. That's what makes him such an outstanding actor, he has the abilioty to completely become this entirely different person and be in their life so that when he says somethingor uses his mannerisms orwhatever, they reflect the character and how he wants them to be portrayed.

Hmm, I dunno. I mean I think all Johnny's characters all have Johnny's uniqueness... but I dont know if he's actually being himself. But in Secret Window, I noticed, he was almost himself. I mean he sounded almost identical to the way he does normally. No accent or anything.

Haha, good quote, HF! ;D
Yeah, that basically what I was going to say, lol. Although an actor can portray many different parts, a good actor knows that he has to be able to find that part of himself that is the character. That's why an actor can't accept every role that's given him, obviously. He has to connect to a role in some way, and be able to relate it to himself. Well, I think so anyway. And it seems very clear to me that Johnny chooses roles in just that way.
