Now, I've seen in different papers, how sometimes they host contests for bad writing. Basically, a contest to see who can write the worst, most grammatically wrong opening sentence to a story. And it's always fun to read. So I'm starting one here. Feel free to add your own. I don't have one yet, but I'll have one soon.

Too funny! ;D
Here's a different kind of bad...
The deep dark blue and green ocean waves of pearlescent whiteness rolled over the sandy shore like a steamroller over bulging carpets of molten tar while the sand glittered with millions of tiny bits of glass in colors of purple, green, pink, yellow--a universe in itself that we who play on the beach do not see without much introspection and loss of self--yes, the sand, the sand. Oh, how the night mourns it like one who finds there are no Cheerios for breakfast.

DB!!!! That was great. It's also more along the lines of what I've seen in the papers. However, these are all horrifically bad. Yours is just . . .

Oh DB, I wish I could say that I've never written a sentence like that for real, but... I'm not quite that bad, but I do have a tendancy to ramble on in my writing. -The Fiends & Piggy

That's why I thought you guys might enjoy it! Besides it's fun to write bad every now and then. Gets it out of your system. ;D And, FF, I doubt you've ever written anything that bad.

Heh. I don't think it's Lorelac as much as Sands and Jeffrey. Those two would drive anyone insane.

Bad writing? Ok then.
She looked out at the amazing sunset and remembered all of her memories of times before where she looked out on a morning just like this remembering more past mornings that in turn made her very nostalgic, like an old man gazing at pictures of past sunsets.
Ahem, that was odd. What was with the sunsets? I have no idea, it's way past sunset where I am. My mind works in it's own bizarre way.
Ciao!
