Thank you so much, everyone! *feels the love from here* It's still all rather surreal, actually. I go about my everyday activities and then go "Hey, what's that sparkly thing on my fing---HOLY SMEEP!" ;D -Fiend

The story, huh? I suppose I can do that. It was a dark and stormy night... (actually it was. weird) My boyfriend John showed up at my door to take me out to dinner. It was our 8th anniversary together, you see. That's right, 8 whole years. I get to the car and golly if there aren't a bouquet of red roses, a bag of DeBrand's Chocolates and a little pink tissue paper wrapped box. He tee-hee-hee'd about the last but I'm pretty used to that. We then went out to dinner at Cork & Cleaver and he made me bring in the box so that I could stare it on the table. Silly boyfriend. Anyway, after dinner we went to the Lakeside Rose Garden and he told me to finally go ahead and open the box. I did. You can guess the rest. I'll try and post a pic of the ring soon. There's the story for ya. -Fiend
