Pretty famed old ship. Davy Jones wants yer soul, see? So when you get tossed in 'ere, he pretty much has it. So have some seaweed and get comfortable. 'Cause you're gonna be here for a while. Eternity in fact. And you cannot set yerselves free. One of yer friends has ter do it. They have to solve a riddle.

Has anyone else noted that there's no evil-undead-pirates on the board right now...and no DB or CC? Just an observation. Think they're collaborating over the riddle?

Quite possible, Psnoo.

As if Psnoo isn't in on it. Someone made me invisible. I'll change it back. Tricksey pirates. Hey! How can we solve a riddle when you don't post one, HH?!

Clearly being underwater for so long has impeded Hammerhead's creative powers

First riddle. For the soul of your captain. And no cheating. No surfing the web for answers--you're on your honor. If you must surf the web, it will take 10 correct riddles to free a soul. Understand? Here is the riddle:
If you break me, I do not stop working. If you touch me, I may be snared. If you lose me, Nothing will matter. What am I?

*thinks*
If you break me, I do not stop working. You can break a heart and it doesn't stop working.
Doesn't really fit with the other parts though, does it? Darn...where's the Earl when you need him?

Is it a heart?

Hmm. Apparently I have understimated yer mental prowess. Hopefully, Davy will not rip out my intestines and feed them to the sharks for this, but yes, that is the right answer. So, CC is free to go, soul-intact. That's if you have the key, of course. Did I forget to mention that you also have to answer a riddle to get the key?

I think you're making up the rules as you go along.

Actually it's not a heart. I'm sorry dear Hammyhead. You are obviously not good at these riddles. I'm afraid it's hope. I looked it up after you said it was correct and it is in fact. HOPE. But no matter. You can ask another riddle. I'm ready. But dear Psnoo... Rules are in fact made to be broken

You mean I didn't solve a riddle at all? How disappointing! How can you break hope? You can say that again

Sorry Jay.
We're waiting for another riddle.... *cough* Hammyhead that's your cue *cough*
Oh and I have a riddle for you now.
This creature, part man and part tree, hates the termite as much as the flea. His tracks do not match, and his limbs may detach, but he's not a strange creature to see. What is it?
;D
