Okay, another part of the film I found hysterical was when Paul and Leo are trying to get Axel to have new ways of saying hello. "I'm a gorgeous woman with big large breasts" "Axel... pucker your lips.... Helloooooooooo" How many ways can you say hello?

Well, my dad always says "Top of the morning." He is half Irish so I let him off

You are very sweet to do so Lynx! ;D With friends "Hey" would be my 'hello' of choice... although my mum hears me say "Hey." and her response is: "Hay is for horses, pigs and cows" ...

I'm a 'Hey' kinda girl too ;D Hey/Hiya/Hi/Yo...all of those are used by me ;D I probably say plain old hello too but I don't really remember...though I definitely use it on the phone.

There must be a saying I can apply here 'good things come in threes' or something All this helloing reminds me of phonecalls...do people have good phone manner where you are? They don't here. A typical conversation: *phone rings* Me: hello? Them: hello. Me: Er...hello? Them: hello? You do know it's blah-blah, don't you? Grrr Why don't people just say 'Hi, it's blah-blah...' and save all that nonsense. Ok, rant over ;D

Me calling someone here: "Hi this is Kelley, is _______ available." and me answering the phone. "Hi this is Kelley, may I ask who's calling" Blah-blah?

Thank you Lynx But I am thinking I must try: "Er... hello?" or quite literally say "Hello this is blah-blah" ... just for a hoot and giggle ;D

Maybe I should ring you up, and we could practise REALLY bad phone manner. "What?" or "Speak already!"

LOL! I am 3/4 deaf in my left ear, so we could conceivably make that one work... But if I was speaking with you Lynx, no doubt I would have the phone at my right ;D Except just for fun, we might have to try that!! "The phone line is disconnecting!"

I think I can use that excuse as well!! "I'm speechless." ...yes, when that day comes my mouth will just hang open and I won't have a word to say, I'll be too shocked.
