Jack and Elizabeth? Please! Wise up all you J/E shippers- it's not going to happen. That kiss meant nothing but persuasion. Remember, he wanted her to 'persuade' him before... she just waited for the 'opportune moment' so to speak. ;D Liz's harem?! Indeed they do need a bath and a shave, the lot of them. Funny though, all three of her boys all fighting there on the island (albeit not over her) and not one of them pays her any mind. She's jumping up and down, pretending to faint, shouting and yelling, and yet they just ignore her. Guess she should've tried the smooch attack earlier.

If she'd interrupted the fight to smooch Jack, that certainly would have gotten everyone's attention...though the fight would have probably continued for a very different reason after that.

Haha, indeed. Poor Norry, all those cracks he made about fiancees. Didn't quite actually forgive her, huh?

I don't blame him. She did sort of broadside him. And what else could he do there in public but graciously withdraw his suit? He's a public official type person (or at least he was). He was probably dying to say something to her once he got over the shock, but by then he was chasing Jack and that's just not condusive to pouring out one's heart to a lost love.

Oh, I agree. Poor guy. Lizzie sure knows how to get on the boys' bad sides. Hehe.

Well, whether or not it was a good twist to the story or a distraction, or lust or whatever, i know when i first saw that scene i yelled OH MY GOSH. i kicked the chair in front of me, flapped my arms around and squrimed in my seat, my friends around me trying to calm me down. We all know that Keira's been wanting to do that since the first movie, and well, I personally think its unfair she gets to kiss both Will and Jack in the same movie xD hey JAers, miss me much?

HF! *glomps* ;D I agree with the shock factor. Whatever else, it gets that. And however much it bothers or befuddles you, it's worth it just to get that sly grin and hear him call her 'pirate.'

Did any of you guys know that Terry Rossio (of Ted and Terry) has a blog? It's true. Just read it. (Terry's Blog)Anyway, in it, he says that Elizabeth is actually the most piratical of all the leads, the one most willing to do whatever it takes to get whatever she wants.

that's his way of avoiding the question lol..he didn't actually answer it haha But anyway I don't remember who said the shipper thing, but I don't think Jack and Elizabeth will have a thing cause yeah she loves Will, but that doesn't mean shes not attracted to Sparrow...my goodness, who wouldn't be?

Found an interesting statement regarding Elizabeth and Jack... To read the entire review, click here. I think this is as close as the truth in my book. I do, however, think she does have actual feelings for Will.
