Thanks. *sigh* It's just so annoying! Gah! Hopefully it'll come out on DVD so maybe I can rent it... that is, if it never comes to New York.

I can relate. I live in a smaller town, and in Canada, and most of the time films like that don't come here, but I've got my fingers crossed. And if not, I guess there's always amazon.com, or amazon.uk.

I know it is terribly difficult! I was going through rollercoasters of emotions when it was to go out in England and Jay was to see it and then it kept getting pushed back. Now all over again with it coming out here in the States. My father has promised to fly me anywhere to see it And I would have gone to England or France's opening but school So now it's on preorder and if a release of theatrical comes anywhere I'll be there. (save for where it's already been, as I've missed those)

You could've just pulled a Ferris Bueller and skipped school! ;D Heck, I woulda given the administration a note saying: I am sorry I will not be in class. I will be out of the country to see The Libertine. It is terribly important to my Johnny Depp fanship that I see this film.
Thank you for your understanding.

Yea, sure! I'll be the official permission slip person for anyone who has to leave school to see The Libertine.
#rotfl#
Seriously, if I had a kid who was a huge Depp fan and their very life depended on seeing The Libertine, I'd let them go. Lol. ;D

ME TOO ME TOO ME TOO!!! SMEEP! First they tease us with a release date...nope thats not it, here's another release date! And another, and another, and another.... One year later, here's a movie poster!! Us fangirls squirm. Here's the trailer!! Us fangirls scream and drool and swoon. A release date! But no, not for you kids in the US, here's to the english people! We weep and Jay has her fun And now, we've come to this, ey? They better had be planning to give us a nation wide release date for US soon, or there will be blood... Let's just hope their newest date of March 10 is right.

Sign me up! It might be forever until I get to see it. What with it never coming because of the release date and my age... But maybe by the time it comes I will be old enough to see it. *sigh*

I am never going to see it I am too old to wait for forever How hard can getting one lil ol movie to Australia actually be? Jay, add me to the list ~SS~ You're from Australia? WHY didn't I know that?! I love Australia! Okay... I've never been there (at least not yet), but I love what people have told me about it and what I read and saw about it.. I'm planning on going there as soon as possible! I might even move there when I'm a little older.. I'm definitely not going to stay here. Anyway, I know that was really Off Topic, sorry about that! I hate to hear that you guys still haven't seen it and I sure hope you'll get to see it soon! All I can say is that it's worth the waiting.. Hang in there! For the people from the US! Just 27 days to go! WHOA! WHAT?? I just saw that the Libertine release date for Holland is MAY 2006! I'M SO smeep LUCKY THAT MY SCHOOL IS CLOSE TO BELGIUM!!! Otherwise I would have had to wait till MAY! Can you believe it? I saw it last week in Belgium.. If my school wouldn't be in the south of Holland I would have had to wait 4 more MONTHS! That's insane! I'm soooooooooo going to emigrate when I'm older! I'm shocked! I guess I'd better go watch a movie with Johnny in it now to calm down.. I hate Holland! Don't ever come here... It's boring, the weather is bad and the release dates are the worst!
