Lost is an utterly addicting show by Alias creator JJ. Abrahms. The main premise is a plane goes down in the middle of a deserted island, leaving 48 people to try and make a life for them in this supposed island paradise. I say supposed because nothing in this show is as it seems. One character of the 14 main ones is an escaped murder, one a miraculously healed parapelegic, and that's to say nothing about the island itself which seems to contain a mysterious monster of some kind which has already killed off a few people. Needless to say, this show is genre bending, including elements of action/scifi/romance/drama and more in only an hour's worth of entertainment and pulling it off nicely. I highly recommend this show to anyone and everyone looking to get "lost" in a good show. I crack myself up. ;D It airs Wednesdays on ABC at 8pm Eastern. -Psy

*SNARF*!!! The Diva one is PERfect!!!! ;D Yes, Sawyer is soooo purdy. Good job, Fiend! Those are great! Boy, was I blown when Charlie shot that guy d-e-a-d. Man. That was awful. I'm not sure I buy the fact that Claire would be drawn to him so easily after that. And now we never get to know the bad guy's reason for being on the island. Grrr.

I know! I was like, no wait...he can't be dead! He didn't get to tell us anything!! ARRRRRGGGHHHH! Lol. Oh well, in retrospect I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised that was how it turned out. JJ Abrahms is a master of cliffhangers. He's like The Cliffhanger King. He does it a lot in Alias too. Oh and I'm glad you limed the siggys. Yeah, I loved the Diva one too. I couldn't help but laugh when she made it for me. Too perfect. ;D -Dr. Fiend

Good to know, DB! I'm glad you like the show and the Sawyer pics. He is indeed a cutey bad boy, and I love his accent. ;D It's funny, the creators changed his character's background when they heard Josh Holloway's-Sawyer's-accent. He was originally supposed to be from Buffalo, NY but they were like, oo southern accent. I think we'll go with that. lol -Dr. Fiend

Heya, Fiend! Did you see this week's episode? 99% Sawyer! Boy, does that guy have some baggage or what? Of course I didn't know it would go over an hour so I missed the last bit. My mom tells me that Sawyer figured out that the man he talked to in the bar was Jack's father. Wish I hadn't missed that!

I did indeed see it. And yes, he does have some very heavy smeeping baggage. It's no wonder he's such a smeep to everyone on the island but Kate-who has just as many issues as he does. He does indeed realise that he was talking to Jack's father in the bar after asking Jack about a phrase he used that his father used too. "That's why the Sox's will never win the series." He has the opportunity to tell Jack that his father did indeed love him and was proud of him, but in true Sawyer fashion, he says nothing. What a meanie. -Fiend

It's really odd because the things of Sawyer's past that we get to see makes him a really sympathetic character, but then I don't understand why he's so mean and cold. Maybe he's afraid of getting hurt and losing control, ya think, oh angst queen? ;D

I think he's so cold and harsh to outside world because he doesn't let people in. He's had to take care of himself-in part-since he was 7 or 8 years old when his father shot his mother and then shot himself. Can you imagine what kind of impact that would have on a child?? He doesn't trust other people because he's convinced they're just trying to take things from him. At least, that's what I think anyway. Heh. I wrote a short fanfic on this very subject not so long ago when Confidence Man was aired (Sawyer's first episode) -Fiend

*waiting patiently for this nights episode*
1 more hour for me...
Sawyer & Charlie are definately my fav. characters. Not getting the whole Polar bear thing...That was a weird episode. I'm wondering if this is truly a real island? Polar bears living on an island?? Wasnt there someone in a wheelchair & now he can walk? Just wondering...
