Okay guys time to start the summer off right. In honor of Johnny's birthday and the start of summer lets have some Summer loving:
DJ, Donna, Allie, Mr. T and Captain Jack decide to start go somewhere for the summer. They don't really care the where, when or how they are just leaving.
"Where should we go?" Allie says
"Anywhere!"says Jack "We do have the Pearl."
"Oh yeah, the Pearl!"says Allie dreamily
"Can we come?"Donna asks
"Of course! the more the merrier!"
"Great!" DJ and Donna say with glee
"Okay Jack, your in charge!! What can we do?"
"Hmm, let me think....."
Jack just stands around for an hour
"Hmm....Jack....is there something you need??" Allie asks questioningly
"Hmm..well....we aren't going towards the Dutchman, are we?"
"Oh sweetie, No Will won't bother us!" Allie says reassuringly
"Well...that's good, but are you sure?"
We all nod yes!
"Come on Jack, we need to go to Tartuga to get supplies." says Don Jaun
"Yeah and maybe we will meet the others there!!" Donna says happily
Allie nods but is thinking that Jack might not be ready for another adventure!
Just then they all hear a rumble of thunder!!

"That was thunder.. Right guys?" CandyQ said outta nowhere.
"Where did you come from?!" Dona yelled.
CandyQ pointed at the elevator that housed a scrumdiddlyumptious Willy Wonka and three adorable oompa loompas. "I heard there was an adventure and where there's mischief and mayhem there has to be a candy loving angel and her Johnny. I figured the Oompa Loompas might come in handy as well. So anyway, that was thunder, right, not some beastie from the sea looking for vengance.."
"There was no Mrs. Beastie, was there?" Allie asked, hoping the Kraken didn't have a Mrs. Kraken or little baby Krakens.
"Could it be Tia Dalma?" Jack asked, looking the slightest bit frightened.
"Well whatever it is, it's getting louder..." Dona pointed toward the dark skies lurking in the not-so-distant distance.

Thunder cracked in the distance making every one jump. Why in the world would Calypso want to start a storm? Being the Goddess she was, it was hard to say. Dark clouds rolled in quicker and the waves began to get rougher. A light rain had started to fall.
"Jack, I really don't like the looks of this.." Allie said as she clung to Sweeney.
"Ah, it'll be quite alright lass, the Pearl's made it through rougher storms than this.." Jack answered as he flashed his gold-glinted grin.
DonaM stood by the rail, looking out over the water, watching the waves start to get rougher and higher. All of a sudden the Pearl dipped quickly and she nearly lost her footing..
"Whoaaa.." she yelped as Juan took hold of her by the waist to keep her from falling.
"Easy, dulce amor.." He said in a quiet voice.
" I hope we get to Tortuga in one piece.." DonaM sighed.
The rain began to fall heavier, the waves began to get wilder and stronger.........

"We will get there, right Jack?"Allie yells hopefully
"The Pearl has never let us down yet!!"
They all nod in agreement
"Oh and look CC is back!"
all clap in happy excitement
"Yes, the Pearl will hold out."CC says with reassureance
"Look we seem to be getting out of the storm."
"We could always use the elevator to get where we are going!"
Jack gives him a look
"What?? It was just a suggestion!"
At that moment...something wasn't right.....

OOC: Ah, poo, I was hoping to write myself in with a grand entrance or something.  Oh well, here goes... CC eyes the horizon, looking for signs of the foul weather that just vanished."A strange piece of weather, that. Calypso does seem to be in a curious mood." CC takes stock of her more immediate surroundings and suddenly realization hits her."Speaking of all that's curious... ALL HANDS! LOOK ALIVE, I'M BACK! How in the blazes did I get back here?! Jack! Did ye hear? I've made it home! Um... Jack? Wasn't he right here?" |

(OOC: CC!!!!!!!!!! *BIG Angel hugs* You're back!!!! Now STAY...  ) DonaM looked up.. "CC? CC!!!! Welcome back, Capitan!" she grinned excitedly. She saw the slightly puzzled look on CC's face and then noticed that Jack was not at the helm as he had been just moments ago before the thunder began to to crack and the waves started rocking and swaying the Pearl this way and that. "Its great to see you and as for how you got back, I've not a clue, but WHERE has Jack now disappeared to? " she said as her brow furrowed in confusion.." I know he's missed you terribly and would be quite put out to know he's missed your return.." The bad weather had seemed to just vanish nearly as quickly as it had come up... curious...indeed! |

"Guess I'll be assuming command of The Pearl in Captain Sparrow's absence... blast it all. Just when I get back, he gets gone?! Ironic much?"
CC takes the helm and gets to finding her bearings.
"So where are we? Anyone know where were we going? And I'm open to suggestions about what is going on now... but I have a bad feeling about where this is ending up."

"We were heading someplace called Tortuga, Capitan CC, ma'am.. " Don Juan said with a grin before DoñaM could answer.
'Si, to pick up provisions I think..then things started to go bad, "Doña put in with a sigh... "I don't like the looks of this at all..no good to have Jack missing unless its me that took him.."She blushes.. "Oh oops...I said that aloud didn't I? I promise I've got nada to do with this disappearance but I am willing to bet that Calypso DOES.. "
The Angels and Johnnies aboard the Pearl took into cosinderation that if Calypso was indeed behind Jack's disappearance..WHY would she do such a thing, and just when his Angel has returned? So much for a relaxing vacation it seems.

"Maybe CC shouldn't be the one with the compass..." CandyQ said, "She doesn't seem to want to go to Tortuga all that bad." The compass was going haywire.
CC sighed, "I guess you're right. Who really wants to go to Tortuga though?"
Just at that moment the whole crew of the Pearl comes on deck from below...

Doña clung to Juan , looking around a bit wary at the Pearl's crew. Jack's crew or not, she still didn't trust most of them. In fact, right now the only pirate on the Pearl she did trust was CC.
The crewmen smiled and bowed to see that CC had returned, but they were also curious as to where their own Captain had vanished to.
"So, if we aren't going to Tortuga, then where are we headed?" Allie asked curiously.
CC stood at the helm, deep in thought. One hand on the ship's wheel, the compass in her other.

OOC: Hoping this makes sense to everyone else...
"Um, everyone? If the thing I want most in this world is... well, Jack obviously. And the compass is spinning out of control anyway. Then it could only mean that Jack is somewhere that the compass cannot point."
CC contemplates the full meaning of her new revelation and then sets about giving order to the crew of the Pearl, who eagerly make ready to get back their captain.
"Angels and Johnnys! Meet me in Jack's cabin on the double! We need to discuss a few things!"

In the quiet of the gently lilting cabin, Jay was sat at Jack's desk. She had pushed the maps to one side and was busy scribbling intently in one of her leather bound notebooks.
"Aha!"
The triumphant cry made Jay jump, her pen scooting erratically across the page leaving a wide black curve of ink. Annoyed, Jay looked up to see the Earl holding up a bottle. He turned beaming towards her, his smile making it hard for Jay to remember the end of the sentance she had been writing.
"I knew the good Captain would know better than to disappoint," said John happily as he pulled the stopper from the bottle and cast it aside with gay abandon, "Fancy joining me?"
Before Jay could answer the door to the cabin burst open.
"Ah," said John as he made a quick rum related calculation, "Finder's keepers."
CC viewed him with a look of stern disapproval which changed to mild surprise as she looked upon Jay who snapped her notebook shut and slid off Jack's chair.
"Inspiration struck," she said simply as she smiled around at the others who were steadily crowding into the cabin, "I take it we have some adventuring to do, fill me in!"

Sweeney and Allie stumble in @ hearing John's pernoucement.
OOC: Jay great to see you. CC, I'd check the tag thread. Okay back to the scheduled program.
"CC we're here! What would you like us to do???"
Sweeney nods in agreement. "It a shame that the good Captain went missing. Maybe the judge is involved??"
"Maybe....where is everyone else? I do not want to repeat myself."

"The judge? Not likely, dear Mr. Todd.." Doña sighed.
She and Juan stood with the other Angels and Johnnies in Jack's cabin, contemplating along with the rest as to their next move. SUddenly, it hit her.
"If Calypso is indeed involved in Jack's disappearance, I say we should call upon her and find out why ..and find out what it is she wants to have caused the disappearance..." Doña said as she looked around at all of the Angels and Johnnies.
"Not sure that would be a good idea," Issy put in, a little fearful.. "You know how she can be if she's angry..."
"Si, but this is Jack we're talking about here! He can't be gone forever, especially not when CC has just returned. I say we call on her or even better, sail to her island..." Doña said with determination.

As if on cue, all faces turned toward CC. She was still seated in front of Jack's charts and maps on the table and was looking intently at a spot on one of them. The Angels and Johnnys, looking expectantly at her waiting for her response, hoped against hope that Doña was wrong. How could they possibly have crossed the sea goddess? And how would they ever get Jack from her clutches if she had him?
CC finally spoke, "That's exactly what I was afraid of, Doña," and stood up. "It looks like there's no question as to who caused Jack to go missing." The other Angels nodded in agreement. CC continued, "I just wish I knew what she wanted with him. So, that's our obvious first course of action." She glanced down at the map again.
"I think we need to pay a visit to an old friend."
