You know, with all the love people have for them, human beings should eat their desert first. It is, after all, the best part of the meal, right?

In theory I would agree with you Artisan, but in reality...don't you want the last taste you have in your mouth to be of your wonderful dessert? Yummy Scrumboes...yes please. Anyone else have thoughts on that?

Oh, but that's not the point! The point is that life is too short and unpredictable to eat your dinner first. You could be dead or worse by the time your plate is cleared! Just think of it! I mean, yeah, you'd want to save the best for last for memory's sake... but the outcome would be the same if you got hit by a bus or something right after you finished your desert and were on your way to dinner. Phew. But yeah, any other opinions on this would be appreciated also.

Whew AoQ! Very passionate on the subject! I suppose if you were to look at it that way, it makes sense to eat your dessert first. I still feel that if you eat it first, by the end of your dinner, your delicious dessert is naught but a mere memory, where if you eat it last, you can savor the taste on your tongue much much longer.

Yarg, by me measures, ye speak the truth (sorry, just came from the pirate-speaking thread. ). But to settle this matter, I suppose we'll just eat dessert whenever we feel like it when the time comes, and the moment seems right. Either way, there's sure to be chocolate involved, so I'd be pretty happy.

My favorite is my dad's chocolate cheesecake. It's got 1/2 a pound of chocolate in it. ;D

I love milk chocolate. But I also like hot chocolate, white chocolate and those little seashells.

We should really have some kind of chocolate fest, eh? With cakes, balloons, and brownies, and little hats, and coco, and... those little Hershey's Kisses dancing instead of raisins... By the way, LD: I'm hearting that siggy. A little poetic, I think.

A chocolate fest sounds fun! Hehe.. we could have every sort of chocolate imaginable.. except, perhaps not any sort of chocolate-covered insect, that's kind of disgusting. And thanks Artisan I love Roux
