Just bare with me.. I know the whole movie is awesome, but Edward does get picked on and in bad spots sometimes... So just tell us your least favorite scene and we can discuss it....

Hmmm this is a good one LM&M...
I think my least favorite scene would have to be when Edward is trying to help Kim's brother and ends up cutting his face...and the little boy is screaming and everyone thinks Edward is deliberately hurting him.
I felt sooo bad for Edward because he was just trying to help!

ohh your so right TuR...i hate that scene it upsets me so much.. my least favorite scene out of the whole movie is when Edward and kim are in his house and there is that beautiful loveing scene that makes you wanna cry..and then all the sudden her stupid boyfriend comes and beats edward up. i just hated seeing edward being beat up! i just wanted to jump in the screen and stand up for him! you know that scene just makes me want to cry for him..poor edward..the little sexy baby...

I just really don't like when everything is framed to look as though it's all Edward's fault... like when Tur mentioned... but as well when Brad (is it? ...Kim's boyfriend... can't think of a name) trys to persuade Edward into helping the house robbery... and he gets locked inside... that was awful....
But I also can't stand how Kim never went back to see him after so many years... that tore my heart... but the movie wouldn't have been the same if she went back... so....

That's what gets me every time I watch the film.... that detail... that she never once went back to look after him, check see how he was... bring cookies... ANYTHING. How could you leave him? ....And to say you loved him.... Makes me so sad..... But it really made the movie something truly special....

Uggg, aye. Joyce (red-headed woman) is such a little smeeper! And poor Edward is just so innocent... At least he found Kim, who didn't take advantage of him...even though she never went to visit him... I'm having a though here: perhaps Kim didn't go back up, because when she first didn't want to leave Edward, and started crying... he said "Goodbye". He knew she had to leave then, and it would be too dangerous for her to come back. I don't necissarily agree with Kim for never going back, how how more romantic of a goodbye can you get? Like Kim said, she wants him to remember her the way she was. Now, if it was me, I'd be back up in that castle every single hour! But that added more drama to the story, I think.

Heehee Rollie..me too! I thought of another scene that makes me really sad for Edward! I hate it when he is trying to eat at the dinner table and he keeps dropping the peas...he's trying soooo hard to eat like them, but then he resorts to spearing his food. How/What did he eat when he lived up in the castle alone? I have always wondered....

I've never been sure myself... but after all it's only a film and we're supposed to overlook some details, but one is drawn to wondering.... The inventor surely hadn't been planning on dying before finishing Edward... so I doubt if he left anything around... so... I really don't know... unless the trees and shrubs that he trimmed beared fruit?
