Dee Dee, awesome poems! I love Mon Amour and Life is a Prison. <--I can really relate to that one sometimes. The poem by John Wilmot was interesting too. ;D

Im not sure if I ever posted this poem on here or not, Its not titled, and I wrote it after my sister told me that my Grandma died when I got home from school one day.
I have never really experienced death on a personal matter well I cant say that because I have but until now, Ive never been old enough to understand it I never knew the slew of emotions that you go through Yes I do know the five stages of grief but I dont even think I am in any of them I think there's a step they never tell you about the step that makes you numb the step that puts you into shock is that what they mean by denial? but Im not denying that this is real Im not isolating myself from it either Im just trying to wrap myself around what happened Its too soon to be angry but everyone grieves in their own way so who knows when the bargaining will start or how long the depression will last All I know is that I cant accept this when I cant even grasp it

Loss is the hardest thing to put into words. Wonder ---> Haven't posted a poem here for a while. Here goes... I am scared that I'll forget Not you - I have the pictures for that, The tickets stubs and the poetry - But there are other precious things I cannot keep. I want to memorise how it feels To run my fingers down your spine Or press my lips against the inside of your elbow The way you say you're mine When you mould to fit me When I feel the warmth of your lips and skin I want to remember the way we are As well as the way we've been I want to remember my hands around your waist while you're cooking And the sight of your clothes on the floor The way your eyes fill with tears when we argue How you make me feel so secure It's all about love when you're with me It's all about love when you're gone I need to work hard to remember In case one day you're not around
