If I would have to guess why a critic would not like it would probaly be because of how drug related the film is. But I can't really agree with that all that much since I have a job on a friend of mines web site as a movie critic myself. I don't understand why the critics hated it so much, I thought it was REALLY good, I've seen it quite a few times too. So who know?! At least we all agree that it was a good movie!

I just saw this movie for the first time yesterday! It was AWESOME. It was so sad at the end thought. "There'll be no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door." By then, I was pretty much balling. Yes, I know, Im a sucker. But what really, I mean REALLY upset me was his mother. I couldve STRANGLED her. I knew she was a horrible person from the beggining, but when she busted her OWN SON I was just like THAT IS IT. I HATE THAT WOMAN SO MUCH. In the beginning when George wouldnt hug her I was like YEAH! GO JOHNNY! What was really sad also, was how George was free, and started creating a better relationship with his daughter, but then he blew it. Anyway, awesome movie. ;D And George was so hot

Just saw Blow for the first time today. It was good. And yes, that is probably an understatement. I really enjoyed it -- even the 70's soundtrack. I think my favorite part was how George was trying so hard to be there for his daughter, even if dealing drugs was the only way he knew how to get the money to give to Mirtha so she'd let him see her. (-.- at Mirtha.) I think that the father/daughter relationship bit might be part of what attracted Johnny to the part. Lord knows how he feels about his own children.
