Hmm...just finished watching the film for the first time and I can't get some of the more disgusting bits out of my head I agree with CC completely about the beginning. I was all ready to shout at the TV but thankfully it finally came to an end I did enjoy the film but it was a bit too artsy for me. It's one of those films that's going to stay with me for the next few days while I mull it over in my mind. It definitely requires a lot of thinking about. I think shooting it in black and white was very appropriate, and wow, Johnny's eyes look even more beautiful that way Overall, an interesting film but hard to stomach in some places

The first time i watched Dead Man i found it a real chore! The whole 2 hours it was on for i was watching the clock every 5 because i was finding it so hard to watch. But i find the more you watch it the more u enjoy it. The 2nd time i saw it i actually understood some of it and realized where some of the humour was hidden and what in general it was about but i think it is really one of those films you must watch over to actually enjoy it without confusion. But people who havent seen it i must warn it is not particulary light hearted! But my goodness do his eyes look even more magnetic in black and white Glad you got to see it Lynx

Just watched this movie last night, and I just dunno... The fact that all the scenes were like, no longer than two minutes long, kinda bugged me. It made everything seem so...choppy and disconnected. I admit, the story had its moments, but I had a hard time paying attention.
