Dead man may not have the most dialogue but that dosent mean the little it does have isnt worth quoting!
Here are a few quotes about the movie curtesy of depp impact :
“I hope that this is the last of these innocents I play. It’s a character that is, again, like a naive young guy who’s trying to get his life together. He’s trying really hard to make his life work and he ends up slowly dying. And he knows he’s dying. It’s a beautiful story, though.” --Johnny Depp
“(Johnny Depp) really is one of the most precise and focused people I’ve ever worked with. The whole crew is kind of amazed by that. That’s a side of him that I’m not really familiar with, you know? I’m more familiar with seeing him fall asleep on the couch with the TV on all night. But it somehow fits; he’s full of paradoxes.” --Jim Jarmusch, director
"He's moody and very emotional and very sensitive. In real life, sometimes, it's hard for him to decide where to eat or what to do, but as an actor he's very precise." --Jim Jarmusch
"He's pretty much half dead for most of the movie. It takes a lot of patience to be half dead. Especially for someone like Johnny." --Gary Farmer

I love it all through the movie when Bill keeps getting asked for tobacco. 'Have you got any tobacco?' everybody asks. 'No I don't smoke.' answers Bill. cracks me up everytime I watch it Then towards the end when he had separated from Nobody and Nobody woke him up while he was standing over him and Bill was lying on the ground. 'Have you got my glasses ?' asks Bill. 'No I traded them.' answers Nobody. 'Do you have any tobacco?' asks Nobody 'No I traded it.' said Bill. 'Liar !' says Nobody. 'Thief !' says Bill. I love this movie it is so hilarious.

LOL yeah this film has some hilarious bits one of my favourites is when Bill goes up to the group of hunters i think they were around a camp and one of the men feels his hair and says something like this: "How do you get it so lovely and soft? Mine feels like barn straw." Something like that but it cracks me up!

Then Bill has to say 'Oh, just lucky I guess.' ;D That was an awesome scene. Then when two of those guys were yelling at each other (Billy Bob and the one that's not Iggy Pop)... "I'm gonna shoot you!" "Well go ahead and shoot me!" *shoots Billy Bob* "Ow! Now I've gotta kill somebody!" Those 3 crack me up. "What's a Philistine?" I'll stop now.

It's such a strange, but funny movie. "Can't take someone seriously who spends the whole conversation talking to a stuffed bear." I've gotta brush up too, I'm terrible at paraphrasing.

And my absolute favorite: "Some are born to sweet delight; some are born to endless night."

I love this movie so much! I like when the chief dude asks for tobacco Johnny is like I don't smoke and the cheif's like well do you have tobacco, and Johnny's like "if I don't smoke there's a pretty good chance I don't have any tobacco." it's not even that funny, but it made me laugh...of course it was like 4 in the morning.
