Ok, next question.... Text Effects... how do you make "pretty" text for your siggys and avvys and etc.? Ie, how to you make them transperent, or more than one colour, and the like?

To make it transparent, you can usually change the text's blending option from "Normal" to "Overlay" which will help it bland it into the image. To make an outline on a text, select your text, go to "Selection" and down to "Load Selection". Then load the text, go back to "Selection", go down to "Modify" and "Expand". A box will pop up and you can choose how big you want the outline to be. Then, make sure the back color is the color you want your outline to be and then click OK on the box. Then press "CTRL + D" to deselect and see your result. Tell me if these weren't good explanations, I'm sure I can dig up some sites with this tutorial.

How do you stitch more than one pic together without any overlap, like in the quilt only I want to do it with screencaps, like 6 or 8 in one block? Thankyou to whoever answers Nevermind, I figured it out.

I used to use Photoshop 5, but now I have Photoshop 6. It is ever so much easier! Perhaps I could give a demonstration of how to blend images? When I make my next banner for a theme, I'll show in stages, so anyone interested can see how I've done it. Anyone up for that? Oooo! I have Paintshop 6 too! Now I know who to go to for help. ;D

I have photoshop 7, I used to have photoshop CS, which was photoshop 8, but I only had a limited time to use it and the serial number wasn't working. For a previous thread, where someone asked about making outlines around text, I think that was the question. You can also just go to layer styles, stroke, and than change the size to like 2 or one. It's what I used around my text in my siggy. The way I'm thinking you can stitch the screencaps together would to make a new image and start to just put them carfully together. That was for another question.

Or another way to make outlines around text for Photoshop 7 is once you write the text, right click on its layer in the "Layers List" and go up to "Blending Options". There should ba an option called "Stroke" at the ery bottom, click that, then choose the color and the width "yes:
