If anyone can, that is... I have a bunch of vacation videos and such on my computer that I would like to burn into DVDs to play on my Tv's DVD player. Most the the files have the .avi, .wma,.mpg and .MOV file extensions. I'm thinking i may have to convert them to another file type(gah). Can anyone explain the process?

I don't think you have to convert them either...
I'm pretty sure that's how is works on my computer.
Try it. Then if it doesn't work, check out the Help Topics on teh DVD burning program.
I'll see what other info I can find...

My brother will know the answer to this- how urgent do you need a resolution? I can drop him a line right now and get an answer later today or ask him to personally show me on T-Day... ?

Actually my biggest problem is that they are ALL in the .mov format and I need them to be in .avi or .wma format so I am able to even burn them to DVD. There is really no set time, as this is my own personal movies from my vacation. But sure...drop your brother a line and let me know what he says,ok? Thanks, Roo..

Do you have a video editing program? Usually, those will allow you to save in different formats. Most Windows machines have Windows Movie Maker. That will allow you to save as .wma format--if you can open your .mov files in it.
