Okay so at the moment Im on AZlyrics and I decided to search around & I found this song by Johnny Cash..that is almost exactly like the Chicago Court scene of Blow.. here are the lyrics JOHNNY CASH LYRICS "It Ain't Me, Babe" Go away from my window Leave at your own chosen speed I'm not the one you want, babe I'm not the one you need You say you're lookin' for someone Who's never weak but always strong To protect you and defend you Whether you are right or wrong Someone to open each and every door [CHORUS:] But it ain't me babe No, no, no, it ain't me babe It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe Go lightly from the ledge, babe Go lightly on the ground I'm not the one you want, babe I'll only let you down You say you're lookin' for someone Who'll promise never to part Someone to close his eyes to you Someone to close his heart Someone to die for you and more [REPEAT CHORUS] You say you're lookin' for someone To pick you up each time you fall To gather flowers constantly And to come each time you call And will love you for your life And nothin' more [REPEAT CHORUS]

Hahah, it really is!! I wonder if Boston George did that on purpose, or Johnny put it in the script, or if its all just a coinky-dink

hmm Im curious, cuz I watched Blow for like the first time in ages the other day *My mom bought it for me..well I forced her to.* and I was watching the commentary, and Ted Demme said that that whole speech was from something of Bob Dylans.

Yeah, I was watching Blow a while ago with my dad, and he started to laugh when Johnny was reciting the lyrics in the courtroom. I asked him why, and he said that it was a Bob Dylan song. I was mostly just like "?!?!", because even though I know who Bob Dylan is of course, I barely know his music. So, does anybody know what Bob Dylan song the lyrics are actually from?

its the same song..or similar, so Johnny Cash must have covered it
Go 'way from my window, Leave at your own chosen speed. I'm not the one you want, babe, I'm not the one you need. You say you're lookin' for someone Never weak but always strong, To protect you an' defend you Whether you are right or wrong, Someone to open each and every door, But it ain't me, babe, No, no, no, it ain't me, babe, It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe.
Go lightly from the ledge, babe, Go lightly on the ground. I'm not the one you want, babe, I will only let you down. You say you're lookin' for someone Who will promise never to part, Someone to close his eyes for you, Someone to close his heart, Someone who will die for you an' more, But it ain't me, babe, No, no, no, it ain't me, babe, It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe.
Go melt back into the night, babe, Everything inside is made of stone. There's nothing in here moving An' anyway i'm not alone. You say you're looking for someone Who'll pick you up each time you fall, To gather flowers constantly An' to come each time you call, A lover for your life an' nothing more, But it ain't me, babe, No, no, no, it ain't me, babe, It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe.
