That sounds great. Parts of it are sort of coming back to me now. It's a musical right? Is it really him singing in it?

I wouldn't necessarily call it a musical, but yes, there are a lot of songs in it. And sadly no, that is not Johnny singing. Go rent it though, 'tis great fun!

Yeah, it's not entirely a musical. I wish Johnny really did sing during his numbers, though. How fun that would've been. I also adore the fact that he dances! I know Johnny hates dancing, and we only get to see him do it again in Chocolat...but that gets me upset! He's so good at it! Ah, well. He was lovely, especially during the "Doin' Time for Being Young" number. I loved that one.

I didn't know Johnny hated dancing. Where did you find that out? Not that I doubt you or anything. I'm just curious.

It was in some article or something. I'll try and find the exact quote...ah, here it is: "I must be the worst dancer in the world. I never understood dancing, not even in junior high. If there was some sort of a tribal ritual or something like that, I could understand. But just moving your body to music was strange to me. To do it in front of the camera was sheer terror. They had to fool me, pump me up with confidence." Nooo, it's not true, Johnny! He's so modest. I think he's a lovely dancer.

Don't we love Johnny partly for his modesty though? But yes from what I remember he had no reason to worry about dancing. He was a good dancer. And he just looked good so I don't think anybody was really paying attention to how well he danced.

Haha yes, gotta love the humble side of our leading man.

Have we ever heard him sing in a movie? I would bet that he could sing pretty well.

I would massacre a village to hear Johnny sing. Seriously I would. And by sing, I mean a full-length song, not just give a little tune. He sings a bit in Arizona Dream when he's drunk, then of course during POTC, and sings "Match in the gas tank, boom-boom!" in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I really do wish he'd sing, though. We'll keep our fingers crossed and perhaps hope Tim Burton forces Johnny to croon for us in Willy Wonka. But at least we know from Cry-Baby that he can lip-synch well.

I still need to see this...I heard it was totally insane, but Johnny singing and dancing? I'm there! He looks very cute on the cover, so it'll prolly be okay even if everything else isn't.

I thought is was really good! Keep in mind that it's a spoof, though. It's intentionally bad.

That's Sqrape, lol. And it's not a spoof on any one film. Basically just films of that genre... sort of spoof, sort of homage... just funny! ;D
