I knwo you guys aren't familiar much about the characters.. but here's a fairly true comparison about Drapes and Squares though : Drapes are like the the gangs and the kids who were brought up in the more unfortunate part of the hood, and the Squares are basically the complete oppposite. Drapes do dirty stuff, ride motorcycles, grease their hair, wear those cool leather jackets.. while Squares are those perfect all-American people who live by the rules, and die by the rules. So which part of the hood would you want to belong?

Didn't the Drapes seem like so much more of a real family? They were all accepted and loved just as they were. I loved that!

too true dangerbabe! it's really amazing.. cause even though they're not so fortunate.. the family bonds are real tight... crybaby's sister is very protective of him, and her two kids are just wonderful =)

I just viewed this movie for the first time (thanks to the comedy channel) Holy Schmoly I loved every second of it! Talk about cradle snatching, JD was so young I just could not believe it. Lip syncs were good though. This is not on DVD, right?

I've yet to see the movie, but since Allison's my name I felt it fit to choose that. Although from what I heard from Halia, it's a pretty good name to have. Heehee... -DaDi

Oh DD, you must see it! Yes, it's kinda corny and campy, but I found it hilarious! It's just so... well, intentionally bad. Heehee, and I wouldn't have minded being Allison!

Oh, too true. Johnny asks you to kiss him "raw." Gosh darnit, DaDi, you're so friggin lucky. :trout: I'd probably want to be Allison too, although I love Wanda. She cracked me up. So did her parents: "Let's all put on a hat and learn something about a foreign culture!"

Hey I haven't seen this movie in forever. I saw about two seconds of it at age seven. Can someone please tell me what it's about?

Lol, Johnny is Wade 'Cry-Baby' Walker, a rebel teenage troublemaker who takes a shine to prep princess Allison. It's a whole squares vs. hepsters thing with funny musical numbers and outrageous antics. Cute, funny, and oh so swoonworthy! ;D
