Hmm, this might belong in another category, but it is pretty much general Johnny discussion. I always find myself listening to the lyrics of songs and think that they fit a certain Johnny character (or Johnny himself) remarkably well. Do any of you? If so, what songs/characters? ![:)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/angelsmile.gif)

Indigo Girl: Galileo That's my captain Jack song. For some bizarre reason that I can't possibly explain, it reminds me of Port Royal, so I think of Pirates and Captain Jack.
Rob Dougan: Left Me For Dead Doesn't really sound very Captain Jack-like, but if you think about it in getting left on the Island, it sort of fits. The anger and everything. Angry!Sparrow.
Johnny Depp: Sands Theme If I have to explain which character this pathetically obvious song it going to be for, then I think I might just faint or something.
Indigo Girls: Touch Me Fall In the very last singing of the chorus, right around the 5 minute mark of the song, the music goes from painfully slow to crazy drums, crazy everything and then comes the chorus (or the new verse thing). Amy's singing the verse with the regular words and all, drums and symbols crashing in the background. But along with the music, there's about three different voices in the background that keep saying things like "try to hold me just like rain in the river try to hold me try to hold me try to hold me" "if I fall i will fall" "every day every day every day" "try to fall try to fall try to fall" All repeating the same things over and over again.
It reminds me of something Hunter S. Thompson would be hearing in his head on one of his "trips." Heehee.
Indigo Girls: Mystery Reminds me of Roux, even though I haven't even *seen* Chocolat yet. It just gives me this feeling of peace, love, relaxation, togetherness, confusion, passion, all in one. Makes me want a hug. It's more like about Roux, and with what's-her-name, and then the pirate bit at the end is that pirate-gypsy...man...
Sorry, I seem to be on an Indigo Girls kick tonight.

Lol, actually I have to giggle everytime I hear that new Dido song. It just sounds like it should be CC's theme song.
I will go down with this ship. I won't throw my hands up and surrender. There will be no white flag above my door. I'm in love, and always will be.
Can you just see CC saying that to Jack, or Johnny? LOL! ;D

LOL yes I could!! ;D Ahoy! That's a magnificent song. For some reason I always think of 'Platoon' when it comes on though. Maybe it's just with the whole "white flag" = peace thing...ah, I dunno. I always think of Sands when I hear Alanis Morrisette's "Uninvited"; Jack when I hear "Captain Jack" by Billy Joel (of course ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/wink.gif) ); "Building a Mystery" by Sarah MacLaughlan for Sleepy Hollow; and "Don't" by Madonna to Arizona Dream. I've got a bunch more but I don't want to cause fits of boredom, so I'll leave it at that. ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/wink.gif)

Well, I'm not sure anything can truly describe Johnny, but the song "It's Hard to Say" by Sister Hazel really describes Roux's view and relationship with Vianne.

Oy, here goes my Clay Obsession again, but for Jack, I automatically think of "Touch" by Clay Aiken and for Johnny I think of "The Way". That's all I can thing of off the top of my head...

Yeah, CC, it's awesome! ;D Good job! I know people may kill me for this, but I always thought of "White Flag" as a song that fit Jack/Elizabeth... ![:-[](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/blush.gif) I think it goes their 'ship quite nicely (for those of us who think they're romantically involved, that is ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/wink.gif) ). I also always think of my POTC fic "The Deepest Circle" whenever I hear "Fallen" by Sarah MacLaghlan.

Ok, so this IS an old song, and it only reminds me of Johnny cuz ONE of the lines in the song, but yea it still shakes me up whenever I hear it ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/wink.gif) "Truley, Madly, Deeply" [almost wrote depply ;D] by Savage Garden. In the beginning, one of the lines of this song is "A reason for living," which instantly reminds me of the way Johnny describes his daughter and son. It just makes me feel all gooey inside whenever I hear it ![:-[](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/blush.gif) -edit- heres another one: Sheryl Crows "The First Cut is the Deepest". One of the lines in it is "When It comes to being lucky, he's cursed," which is a saying on ALOT of johnny icons I've seen. And plus, it kinda makes me think of Don Juan because, Don Julia was one of his true loves, and she dumped him cuz of the number of woman he's slept with, and Sheryl Crows singing about how she'll go out with whomever, but she'll still be hurt because the "first cut is the deepest", sorry if that was confusing ![:P](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/Greeny/Smileys/tongue.gif)

Actually HF that makes sense. Though had I been Dona Julia I'm not sure I'd have walked off from Don Juan. Especially with how the movie ends (don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it).

I thought you made that up.. wow I feel slow lol Can't you just imagine Johnny walking down the street in his old "bad-boy" clothes, you know, before he calmed down and met Vanessa and had kids, with the song "Bad to the Bone" playing in the backround? That'd be awesome!!!
