How do you think it ended? The first time I watched I thought that Suzie's father would die in the end because he finally got to see her again.. but that would leave her in such an awful position... I wrote some fan fic. for this... it's in my training thread right now.. and since then I've written many more chapters if anyone is interested.

*raises hand* I am interested Roo in your fan fic Roo!
I thought the same thing you did...I figured he would die after he saw Suzie...but then what would happen to Suzie? *ponders* I KNOW! SHE CAN GO FIND CESAR.

Heck if she won't go hunting for him I sure as hell will! ....with Axel of course. Okay... I must muster up courage to share the rest of my fiction! But wouldn't that have made sense... I can only imagine his new family's reaction though... they didn't seem to pleased to meet Suzie in the first place.

Hehehe! If you're not up to it Roo, I'd sure chase Cesar! What a lover. But speaking of the fan fiction you've written, I would love to read it. I tried to go into the Angel Academey where you said it was located but I'm not allowed in. Could you email it to me? And on the subject of her father, I always imagined that he'd regain his strength, and leave with Suzie to find Cesar and meet him.

I wish that is how it could have happened, but how could he leave his new family? I can imagine Suzie's heartbreak when she found out about the new family. She probably felt like she was intruding on them and their grief over his illness (at least, thats how I would have felt). I was sooo happy for her father when Suzie entered the hospital and he recognized her...at the beginning of the movie she was his whole world...and imagine the joy of seeing a daughter you thought long dead! Beautiful!

Yes that must have been something extremely powerful to her... but it was hard to understand just what he must have been thinking when he saw Suzie again. I mean he had told people that she had died on the stake, now does that lead us to believe that's what he wanted, or what he said so he could get work? (not being a Jew) or why else he could have said that. There are so many open ended things in the film.
