What did you think of Cate's character Lola? Did you think she was bad for Suzie or a good influence?
;D

I'd say she was a bad influence...doing anything she could to secure money (going after rich guys). Not exactly the best philosophy in life... She was so...well mean in some parts to Suzie, but in my eyes she kind of redeemed herself when she helped Suzie out, getting the tickets to leave and everything. But I don't think Suzie really LET Lola influence her that much. She was really her own person, and that was awesome ;D

I think Lola was wonderful before she met Dante (to him) And then she changed her rules because she was in love... which I feel is really wrong... But over all I think she was a friend to Suzie when she needed one...

I was torn between liking her, feeling sorry for her, and hating her sometimes in the movie... but in the end I decided on liking her because she did help Suzie out in the end... and always tried to help her...
And yea I love how Suzie didn't let Lola influence her THAT much... very strong girl

So many different opinions and viewpoints... I love this, no two people get the same reaction from anything.
I must say I loved the character Lola... you can tell she suffered so much and endured so many things throughout the course of your life... she must have had several experiences that brought her to that point in her life....
As we know from the film she grew up in Russia and spoke little Russian, along with her heavy creme coated accent ;D

I don't really know my feelings on Lola...I think in the long run she really helped Suzie because even though she provided a bad example of how to do things, she told Suzie up front how she should be, even though she broke her own rules.
I think that she helped Suzie because Suzie saw what was happening with Lola from an outsiders pov and saw what she didn't want to have...
That's what happens to me personally a lot-I see how people live their lives and I think to myself as well as make vows not to live like that.

I think Lola made up her mind that she was going to succeed in life by whatever means necessary. Maybe she went about it the wrong way but she proved that she cared about Suzie by buying her those tickets . Lola probably would have liked to be more of an influence on Suzie but Suzie had ideas and morals of her own that were too strong to be broken.

I guess overall, she was alright, but there were times where I didn't really like her too much.
