I love the turtles. *Go Play!* ...I wonder what happened to the turtles after she set them free? Did they stick together? (sorry I think about random things like that )

Oh I would assume they stayed together... they were a gaggle of turtles that had lived together all of their lives... they couldn't abandon one another But after the fire and Grace's death I wonder where they went off to.... I'll have to write some more fanfic for that But wasn't it so obvious when she let them out in the rain that she was going to kill herself?

Oh yeah, she never would have let those turtles go otherwise (we need a turtle smilie ;D). I really loved those turtles, I can so see me turning into a Grace type with her animals at the table and stuff ;D. Do you think Axel would have looked after her turtles if she had not let them all go? Or would that have been too painful for him?

I definitely think he would have hung onto them. Knowing they had meant so much to the woman he loves, how could he not?

Axel is such a sweet heart... of course he would He would have walked on water or done anything Grace had asked him to or hinted that she wanted. What a dream man! Do you think he would have gone back to NY? or stayed in AZ?

I think he would have gone back to NY, because what's left for him in AZ?
He was happy with his life in NY (right?!), so why not go back to it.

Yes.... I agree... or else he could come hunt me down in MN and then when we move to Switzerland we could start a new life together I like the sounds of that! ;D Do you think he was happier with Elaine or Grace?

Grace, because he knew where he stood with her. Elaine never really said how she felt like Grace did.
Do you think he ever really loved Elaine?

Oh yes I believe that he loved Elaine.... but she never shared his feelings the way Grace did... but it's evident he did love her...
Grace was very sweet and eccentric... I think he was happiest when with her...
Elaine only saw him as an object for her own pleasure... a way to get sex if you will.... that's not love in return.
At least that's the way I see it........?

I think he thought he was in love with Elaine because she was what he thought love should be, but once he realised he was in love with Grace he realised that he had never really loved Elaine, not properly. I think Grace and Axel had similar views on life, only Grace was more bitter.

Yes that's a very wonderful view on it as well... But if we really want to know all we have to do is ask Axel... I believe he more or less had a strong magnetic pull to Elaine at first... a sexual connection or desire for her... but not the love like he had for Grace... not for the person she was... just what she was.
