You didn't think I would forget the soundtrack did ya? (ok I did... but here it is!) The music in this movie was definately very different than the musical, Gene Wilder version. And the Oompa Loompa songs were a bit different ... almost... hip to the jive you could say So who all has it? Who all LOVES it? And what's your favorite track? ;D

I loved that they didn't all sound exactly the same. That's (part of) what got to me about the 1971 movie; all the Oompa-Loompa songs were to the same tune. It was enough to drive someone crazy.

I think we can all agree that Danny Elfman did a terrific job writing all those songs. And we all think over here that the Augustus Gloop song was the best of the bunch. I could dig it. ;D

OH wow...I love this CD sooo much. Danny elfman is so incredibly talented. I was noticed while watching the movie..that Elfman can make you feel such great feelings just the music he plays. during a sertain scene like especially the song they play when the kids first arrive at the factory..and your gradually closinbg in on them . the music just makes you feel so excited. I love it..
oh and dont even get me started on the oompa loompa songs..hehe
uhhh..anywho..my favorite song is the main titles song. I love it so very much.
