Lift, Lift it like a ladies skirt... (something like that.) Gibbs is so amazingly hilarious. That man needs to talk more. *does the "black spot" dance*

(for LadyM) Jack: You know, these clothes do not fancy you at all. It should be a dress or nothing. I happen to have no dress in my cabin. I was watching a clip on-line, and I thought it was "It should be a dress on that thing. I happen to have no dress in my cabin" or maybe i remembered it wrong.

It's "Dress or nothing..." Implying that Jack wants Liz naked in his cabin.

Hmm... not sure... but I like this quote: Elizabeth: You know, Will taught me how to handle a sword. Jack: Like I said before, persuade me. ^_^ I love that line!

Isn't the line... "I happen to have an old dress in my cabin" ...? meaning the dress that Barbossa gave her to wear? Or am I just giving Jack too much credit?

I think you're giving Jack too much credit. I know we're all waiting with baited breath for the DVD so we can watch the movie with subtitles. I went and saw the movie with my 14 year old cousin and she kept leaning over and asking me, "Why did they say?"

Nope, I'm right. Got my confirmation last night. He says "It just so happens I have an ol' dress in my cupboard." 100% positive. But IMBD seems to agree with you all. Doesn't matter, I'm not afraid to stand alone in rightness.

Riiiiight...it has nothing to do with the fact that Jack has something of a slur....
