We all know the Libertine's long documented release history (or lack of!). If you're still waiting for its release then please take advantage of this thread as a place to vent and to anticipate. I feel for you guys I really do but believe me, it's worth it Please do not post spoilers in this thread.

GAH!! I want to see this movie so bad They way you, Batty, and Rev talked about it, it sounds fantastic, as if I didn't know it'd be fantastic in the first place. I'M SO EAGER TO START POSTING IN THIS PLACE!! As for us in the US, unless you live in LA or NY, we've still got 51 days including today to wait! *falls over*

Well I don't even think I can see it legal when it does come out... Isn't in NC-17 in the US?
Maybe I will when it comes on DVD...

No matter how long you have to wait, LM&M, this thread will be open for your use ;D Will your parents let you watch it when it comes out on DVD? I wouldn't let my sister watch it until she's older, that's for sure, but I think she's quite a bit younger. Even so, there are some things which you have to wait for. I had never seen an 18 film until I was nearly 18 myself ;D

I've seen "R" movies (you have to go with a parent if you are under 17) but never a NC-17 (no one under 17...). My parents might let me rent it.... hopefully... I don't think my grandma would be to fond of buying me this movie though....

I think I will have to wait forever or at least as long as you waited to become an Angel, Jay. I've pursued all the movies sites I can think of and still come up with a big zero for a release date in Australia. If I just had a number to count down from it wouldn't be so bad, days, months, years even, I'm patient. I'll certainly be back to whinge some more. ~SS~

I am bouncing up and down waiting to see this. My parents have agreed to my seeing it as they want to see it too. I've been watching the clips and interviews and trailers over and over... :sigh: I look sooooooo forward to it

Oh no, SS, that's terrible news! How evil of them to deprive you Maybe we should start a petition for its release down under....probably won't do any good, but it might make you feel better ;D Roo, you're going to love it ;D Have you seen the 'abduction' trailer? That one is my favourite

Yes! I have also been watching all of the other trailers and clips non stop, my dad comes down for the computer. "Dad ...just a sec!" "A sec, or a Kelley sec?" "Dad... shh!" >> Replay << "Kel..." *off in dreamland* "Kel..." "One more time dad... hold on just a minute." "A minute?" "A minute.." "Let me know when you're done. *sighs and mopes upstairs*" The film best come out soon for my father's sake too. He is looking forward to it, but I think he is more looking forward to prying my death grip eyes from the computer screen

Here is a lovely little tidbit about the Libertine on an ENGLISH... not Australian ;D FM station, at least that is what a friend of mine from VP.net has told me. s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2VLB5SNJIWQQJ22V5Q56MGL74B There is also a bit about Lily Rose that makes me melt, and a little about POTC too

Roo! your Dad will be glad to see this film with you to get his computer back Love Johnnys voice anytime, but I don't think it was from an Australian station, he sounded (the interviewer) quite English to me Thanks for posting it ~SS~
