You've all read 'Jane Eyre', haven't you? If you haven't, shame on you! Go out and get yourself a copy and read it NOW...then come back to this thread. ....I mean it. Read the book! ;D Ok.......Mr Rochester, Charlotte Bronte's wonderful creation, is widely believed to have connections to our very own Earl of Rochester, John Wilmot! If you don't believe me, check this out: The Real RochesterI have been in love with Mr Rochester ever since I first read Jane Eyre, but I think I love him that little bit more now ;D

The link is full of amazing information! The intertwinement (word? ) of the histories and their life connections are eyeopening and so vast. I had always thought there was something between Mr. Rochester & The Earl of Rochester.
