They never figured out who did it specifically, but I think we're supposed to infer that the pharmacist did it. The pills were close, but not the same. One little round yellow pill was a cough supressant, the other a little round yellow pill that was killing him. Whoops. Anyway, yes. House is a delightful show, and I will give another recap just in case you didn't get dl's wonderful one. And cause I like to talk about the show. There's Dr. Gregory House, an anti-social genius who likes to treat illnesses, not people. He's crippled supposedly because he had an infarction in his leg. (read blod clot, I think) Anyway, it was misdiagnosed and therefore it grew too late to do anything about it and he lost the use of his leg. He's therefore quite upset with doctors and the world in general, determined that everyone lies but him. Also, because of the pain of his leg he's a full out Vicodin addict. Fun, eh? Oh and he's an accomplished pianist!! ;D Then there's the Ducklings (House's staff) Dr. Robert Chase-the Australian blond regular doc. We like him because he likes House. He's been a duckling for a year now. He comes from a rich family but has major issues with his dad. He wanted to become a priest rather than a doctor but his faith didn't win out in the end. Dr. Allison Cameron-the chick. She cares a lot about people and doesn't like to lie. She had a husband out of high school who died of cancer. She's another person who likes House, but more worries about him than is amused by him. She also doesn't take his crap, which is amusing. She also did indeed go on "Date without the date part" With House, he asked her to go see a monster truck show with him when his friend Dr. Wilson couldn't go. She's been around for 6 months before the show and routinely answers Houses' emails because he can't be bothered to care. And I am a total House/Cameron shipper. Dr. Eric Foreman (isn't that the name of the character on that 70s show too or am I insane?) The black "streetsmart" doc. House hired him for his misdeeds as a kid, wanting a doctor who knows how to con and when he's being conned. Foreman defintely doesn't take House's crap and fights back when threatened. He claimes Cameron and Chase are suffering from Stockholm syndrome because they like House. He wears the same kind of tennis shoes that House does and has been compared to him more than once. He's been a duckling as long as the show's been on. About. Dr. James Wilson-Perhaps House's only friend, like House in a lot of ways except for the fact that he actually cares about his patients. He's a bit of a womanizer, and would rather spend Christmas dinner with House than with his own wife. *shrug* He doesn't take House's crap either, and the banter between him and House is always fun to watch. Dr. Lisa Cuddy-director of the hospital, takes wicked pleasure in making House miserable while he tries to do the same to her. She's not above blackmailing him to get what she wants, and that makes their dynamic fun. House was asked if he had a thing for her, to which he replied, "No, there is not a thin line between love and hate. There is a great wall with gun turrants every 20 feet between love and hate." Or something to that effect. The show works like this: someone gets a mysterious illness, they spend the episode trying to figure out what it is, House figures it out, the person is cured. And yeah. That's House for ya. I love this show... -Fiend

Holy smeep, FF! Did you write that just by yourself? You're, like, the summary Goddess!! Haha, I actually needed that, believe it or not. Thanks... Compared to your recap, mine is barely anything.

When I like something and am asked about it, I tend to...ramble. I'm glad my ramblings helped though. ;D Yes, I did write it all, yes I did it write it all in one sitting, yes I read too much into the world of House. ;D -Fiend

After all the lovely Housian graphics everyone sent me for my birthday to push my House obsession even further, I was feeling generous. Therefore, I decided to share. ;D First a lovely pic of the good doc himself from a recent issue of TV Guide. Secondly, the article that came attached. Enjoy fellow House fans. ;D i2.photobucket.com/albums/y30/Fiend987/House/housearticle.jpg-Fiend

Ahhh! That was SO deja-vu - I just read that article!! It was awesome, I must say. Mr. Laurie seems like a really nice guy... And what was the name of one of his British comedy characters? Something with Mufton-Tufton, right? Must go check article to see... ;D

"Bertram Wilbeforce Wooster", eh? His nickname is Bertie, right? Was he the one in your signature with the overly pompous blonde powdered wig? And what shows are these that have Bertie and that Mufton-Tufton fellow, anyway?! I'm guessing that it's like a British MADTV... Or something like that... Tonight's episode was really good! I enjoyed it a lot. When House informed the patient that he knew about her cutting and bulimia, this was me: No joke, I was THAT surprised, haha. I mean, he's just so... so... HONEST!! And also... Mr. Laurie and the actress that played the patient had a very good onscreen chemistry, in my opinion. What do you other Housians think? (Sorry, but I had to steal the phrase "Housian" from your sig, SB )

Yes indeedy. Bertie Wooster, Pride of the Woosters. ;D The one in my siggy with the yellow wig was Prince George from Blackadder season III. The one in drag in my earlier sig was Georgous Georgina/Lieutenant George from Blackadder IV, and the one in my Rubber Ducky Love sig was the loveable but dimwitted Bertie Wooster. Oh wow. Tonight's episode rocked. I loved every minute of it. House's yo-yo, Cameron's freaky first-name calling, "It itches" BABA O'RILEY!!! House's exceptional taste in music (Rolling Stones, The Who, and Pink Floyd to name a few) The way House put his patients first above everything else. Oh wow I loved every minute. Just one thing....Cuddy and House had a thing a long time ago??!! :blinks: Whoa. Didn't see that coming. Wonder if it's true. She didn't admit to it, but she didn't deny it either and new meanie boss man seemed awfully sure of himself.... Hmm... And Chase, poor Chase. Sure he screwed up, but I can't help but feel sorry for him. Anyway, yeah. I am content. *off to listen to Baba O'Riley now, wishing I could play piano as well as Hugh Laurie can... Siiiigh* -Fiend Oh and depplove? I'm not entire sure if I coined "Housian" or not, but if I did, you're more than willing to use it any time you like.

Hey did anyone else think that Chase found the bottle at the end? I could've sworn it was him going through her purse and stuff, but the chairman said it was a nurse... Is Chase classified as a nurse? I know he was worried about losing his job, but I don't think he'd got as far as to get House in trouble...

Feeling just the slightest bit bad for Cameron, even if it didn't sound like House meant it. "Do you like me?" "No." Made me giggle and sigh at the same time. And yeah, that's a hard thing to do, giggle-sigh. What an exciting episode. ;D Need more head dude/House catfights. And more random iPod tunes. That Baba O'Reilly scene had me swooning so hard. Who needs a lab coat anyway, when you've got a yo-yo? Still no idea what he meant by a nurse. Maybe a wrong line or maybe I just haven't been watching long enough to know. I do that a lot. I want a Hugh Laurie concert.

What I think is that either A, Chase put the bottle of Ipecac back and didn't tell anyone, (I like this option cause I like Chase) Or B, Volger (meanie boss dude) was protecting his source, (Chase) by saying that a nurse found it. Yes indeedy, I feel sorry for dear Allison too. Although, House did hesitate just a little too long before saying No in response to her question. Chase is an Intensivist, or something, btw SB. I think that means he does all the down and dirty doctor work. Foreman's a neurologist, Cameron is...uh don't know, and Chase keeps patients alive. House has a specialisation in Infectious Diseases and something else that starts with an N. Some weird doc word. lol Anyway, yes wow. Baba O'Riley, indeed. That was one hot scene. I was rocking and swooning at the same time. ;D And the yo-yo thing was priceless!!! *runs off to watch episode again* -Fiend I want a Hugh Laurie concert too!!!
