So I know you all know and love my dear Glen, but how well do you know the others?
Lets get to know them!
Nancy Thompson
Played by Heather Langenkamp
Nancy is the hero of our story. She's strong willed, independent, and smart. She lives in a colonial styled home with her mother Marge. Her father, the Lieutenant at the local police station, is divorced from her mother. Nancy is a very devoted friend. When her best friend Tina complains she's having terrible nightmares, Nancy volunteers to stay with her, while Tina's mother and boyfriend are away. She also has a boy friend named Glen, but really they're more of good friends than lovers.
Marge Thompson
Played by Ronee Blakley
Marge Thompson is Nancy's mother. She hasn't totally come to terms with her divorce from her husband Lt. Thompson. She has become somewhat of an alcoholic. However, her love for her daughter is her number one concern, and is always looking out for her well being - even if Nancy thinks she's kind of dorky. She loves her daughter, but tries to hide things from her, in a sense, trying to protect her from reality.
Tina Gray
Played by Amanda Wyss
Tina is Nancy's best friend. She has a boyfriend named Rod, and her mother is dating a somewhat sleezy man. One day Tina's mom skips town to Las Vegas, and leaves Tina alone at a great time of need, as she is suffering from terrible nightmares. However, her best friend Nancy and her boyfriend Glen agree to stay the night to make sure she's ok.
Rod Lane
Played by Nick Corri (Aka Jsu Garcia)
Rod is Tina's boyfriend, and is good friends with Nancy and Glen (despite the fact that he picks on Glen for being a jock type). Rod seems to come from a less than favorable home, and has become a town bad boy. Unfortunately this reputation ends him up on the wrong side of the law, even though he's not really to blame.
Lt. Thompson
Played by John Saxon
Lt. Thompson is Nancy's dad. Recently divorced from Marge, he resides on his own. Although he's not always around, its clear to see that he cares deeply about his daughter. However he does end up using her to catch a guy who he believed to be a murderer, which ends up costing him Nancy's trust.
