I've heard this a few times online already. 'We want more pirates!'
Who doesn't? But I'm of the mind that would be a bad thing. But what do YOU think about it?

I think that it would be great to see where the story goes next but at the same time, I think people might just get tired of having the same kind of movie come out every year. They'll be like "Oh, it's May. Time for another Pirates movie." or whatever. People may lost interest.
I would like to see everyone back together may once more but maybe if Disney takes a break and does one last movie in I dunno, maybe six or seven years. Or may a ten year reunion movie. But I don't think there should be another for a while.

I think Disney needs to leave well enough alone before they ruin another franchise.

Seriously, I heard rumours that they're already planning for a Pirates 4 in case 3 does extremely well, but I'm really hoping that they don't. It's been a fun run, and they were lucky 2 and 3 did great, but I really don't want these movies to get old. Disney needs to step away from the pirates.

I do believe that Orlando had already said he's not doing anymore, so hopefully that's that.
Besides, Will and Elizabeth's story is over. They already did the '10 Years Later.' That would be wrong to go back and have more in between.
Contrary to popular belief, this is not Jack's story. So regardless of whether or not his story is over, Pirates of the Caribbean is over.
They can make a cartoon of Jack's after-adventures and that would still be, in some ways, wrong. They can write books... that might be ok.

I really don't think they should make another one it's totally uncalled for, and they wrapped it up so nicely. Things have to end at some point.

They could continue more on the story line... I think they ended the first and third movies the same, with room for sequals... But also they ended both of them with a good end. So I think they should just leave well enough alone because there's really no need for a fourth movie, this isn't Star Wars.

Yeah, well, Star Wars didn't need more than three "episodes" either.

Yeah, but for me... One Star Wars was more than enough.

I've not seen AWE yet, but I can comment on this... I personally wouldn't like the story to move FORWARD per se... but rather i'd like to see a "prequel" Starting with Jack as a merchant sailor and all of the events that lead up to him losing the Pearl to Barbossa. There are still alot of things that I don't know..and very well some of them may be answered in the 3rd movie. Just a thought.

Agreed, Doña. But... not another movie. It's all ended so nicely. It doesn't need to be tampered with.

True. It's kinda like Lost. It just leaves you with more and more questions. But I just think they should not put it on the Disney channel as some crappy childrens show... A book, maybe. I'm not sure.

Hmm...I don't know. I agree that Elizabeth and Will's story is over, it would be wrong to go on with their story. To be honest, the only thing Disney need to make another one is Johnny's agreement and we all know how much he loves Jack. I think they could make a fourth one but it would have to be more like the first one and I'm not sure they could restrain themselves after the spectacular nature of the third. Whatever happens there is going to be a big gap so I don't think people getting bored of the franchise is an issue. So, in short, I'm divided.
