Oh yeah, the rooster bit! That made me think of Roo for sure (Axel's angel). The pies! Of course! I knew it had to be a reference to something. I noticed the guy running like Jack...that made me giggle. Don't be embarrassed, Clion! If I was as observant as you I'd be posting stuff like this all the time ;D Instead I have to rely on the keen eyes of others to point me in the right direction

(she reads back her post and runs away embarassed; now everyone knows how obsessed she really is ) Oh, I wouldn't worry quite yet. I have a few links of my own to point out. 1) Did you know that the goat thing is a running joke in the PotC films? It first appeared in Port Royal's harbor as Jack is sinking in. Remember the men working to load the ship who all turn and stare as Jack goes sinking by? And then, if you've listened to Ted and Terry's commentary, there was a goat on the bar in the Tortuga scene, but it unfortunately got cut out. Then the former-Mr.-Commodore gets handed a goat by either Pintel or Ragetti just after he and Elizabeth have joined Jack's crew. 2) Ragetti's wooden eye - remember the deleted scenes from CotBP? There's a cut scene from between Elizabeth being invited to join Barbossa for dinner and the actual dinner where Pintel and Ragetti are spying on Elizabeth changing through a crack in the wall. In that scene, Ragetti stares through the crack with his wooden eye and keeps saying, "I can't see nuthin'!"

Haha SP! Looks like I'm in good company! (relieved!)
Thank you for reminding me the goat stuff! About Ragetti's wooden eye, I have to admit that I only watched all the deleted scenes from CotBP only once, except the ones with Jack in them; those I know by heart!

C, you're in very company here. No worries. Psnoo, YES! The goat is so a running joke! On the DMC commentary, T & T talk about the "And a goat..." joke. I forgot about that scene with Ragetti! Awesomeness.

You guys just crack me up, how do see all this stuff? I've seen it three times and I see nothing I have to go back and watch it again now (such hardship) ;D ~SS~

Haha, SS. I'm up to 5 now. That does help. The more you see it, the more bits you'll find. ;D Truth be told, some of those I read about first. But most of them I did see on my own. I just love how they put all these little gems in there for us to find! ;D I did find a slighty better shot of Jack's new charm: I do think it would a great story if it was a Kraken tooth, but I just don't think it could be. I've been looking for a decent shot of Barbossa's earring... because it's definitely the right size... but that is proving to be pretty hard.

I agree that Jack's new charm is about the same size as Barbossa's...but Barbossa's tooth/fang thingy is dyed red, green, and white and Jack's has tribal things going on.

See that's what I couldn't figure out. I couldn't remember what the earring looked like, and finding a good shot of it- even on my DVD!- is just about impossible. Alright then. So it's probably not the earring. I'm still looking for a good pic though, just to have as proof. Guess we'll have to wait for the AWE dvd to know for sure.

Okay, don't scream now, but I just saw it again for the 7th time. Of course I payed attention at the last scene. So Jack has indeed a new charm, we knew that, it is indeed some kind of tooth with what looks like tribal signs on it. Barbossa still has his earring on during his last scene. So, it's not his earring Jack is sporting now. I do wonder what it is now. Also, did you notice that Beckett looks like he's chewing gum when he comes out his cabin after Jack, before Jack flies off with help of the cannon? And, back to references of other Johnny movies: during the multiple Jack scene, there's one Jack running with buckets of water and it got me thinking of The Brave. Over-analysing? Yes, fine, I know I tend to do that!

AH! Well spotted then, C! How did I forget to see if Barbossa still had it on?! Lol, Beckett does look like he's got something in his mouth there. Ever notice how much sugar that guy puts in his tea? Just about everytime you see him, he's putting another cube in there, lol. I haven't seen The Brave, so I don't know.

I was watching it yesterday and I noticed that when all the rocks were transforming into crabs all at the same time, one of them was upside down! I don't know if anyone else noticed that, I didn't until yesterday.

Never noticed that, Lua, but I'm willing to go check again. Have you noticed that some crabs walk sideways, like crabs are known to walk, but some just walk straight? I thought it was weird.
