...The Life and Death of Lord Rochester by Jeremy Lamb. I couldn't fit the whole title into the subject box lol. Has anyone read this? If so, what are your thoughts? Did you like it? I got my copy today and it's on my "to read list"

It was a very interesting read! Lamb really put Rochester under the microscope didn't he? ;D it made me understand & love him even more ♥ One of my favourite parts; House of lords records show that when the King realised a duel was going to be fought he sent an officer of his guards, on the morning of the fight on 22 November, to try and stop both men from proceeding. Mulgrave was at this point in Knightsbridge, but Rochester was found at his lodgings. He assured the officer that he would not try to escape, but then found an excuse to go into the back room and promptly ran out of the door.I'll come back with more later! Never trust a man who lies It really was one of the most interesting biographies I have read, I'm not usually a fan.
