Hi,
I just came back from this enjoyable movie! Heartwarming comes to mind. Marley is the star. Jennifer & Owen did a good job. Now I have to get the book. Anyone else? If you have a dog, getting one, or had one see this movie. Yes, the ending is sad, but its life.

My friend and I saw this last week. By the end of the movie, we were bawling our eyes out - as was everyone around us! We hadn't read the book before seeing the movie so neither of us knew it was going to be that sad. But it was a very enjoyable film, I didn't regret paying seven dollars to see it. Definitely a "pleasant surprise" (kind of like when I saw Definitely, Maybe - typically not a film I would go for but ended up enjoying).
I agree, though, Marley is definitely the star. It was fun to watch him tear around the house and eat mangos! Made me miss my dog.
