Oh, goodness, I really must see El Mariachi and Desperado. Especially now that I've become a blabbering OUATIM freak, although it'll be weird seeing it without Sands. lol I'll probably forget he's not supposed to be in it halfway through the film, check my watch and go, "Where the hell is he!?" Guess our favorite wayward agent is a bit too addictive for me. Whew. I don't really know much about El, and I'd like to. He seems like a kind of flaky character from just watching OUATIM, and I really don't want to be judgemental about the poor guy 'cause I haven't seen the first two films. I'll have to rent them them as soon as I find time. And of course, I would make Robert Rodriguez 986,000 cookies (maybe more) if he would make a sequel to OUATIM, obviously including Sands. That character is just way too cool and well thought-up than to leave on the shelves! Plus, it's just awesome to watch Johnny kick some butt.

Desperado is the movie where El steals the show. He's funny and wicked and amazing all at once! The opening scene as told by Steve Buscemi is AMAZING!!! You'll really enjoy it, m'dear.

Oh yes. Steve Buscemi and Quentin Tarantino were both hillarious in their short roles!! You will most certainly enjoy this movie!! Oh, and as for missing SJ? Rent the special edition of Desperado, and there's a behind the scenes of OUATIM and the trailer from the movie as well to keep you 'fixed.' I know I enjoy watching them!!

You don't know how tempted I am to take you up on that, PPL. And not just because of the theater showings of OUATIM either, although that does play a big part. No, what I'm really tempted by is the fact that it's WARM OVER THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! *FF sticks it out in cold icky Midwest America where we've had snow on the ground for months straight now. Siiiighhhhh* -The Fiend

I just got back from watching OUATIM with the family, and I noticed something that I hadn't before. When he was trying to shoot the two guys, once his eyes were out, and he told the chiclet boy to go, after he had done all his random shooting, he started tapping his right foot excitedly to see if he had shot anyone. I just found that utterly cute! I think I even saw a little smile come upon his face, it was like a little child awaiting to see if he hit the pinata at his 7th birthday
