I have to add some more information to this thread. There is about 1/2 -3/4 hour DVD included with this cd. Its quite amazing, RR goes through how he made the music for El Marachi with a Radioshack microphone and really cheap tapedeck, then moves to Desperado and how he got Los Lobos to record on the spot before shooting started, it shows them working on it before going out to do a concert. Then there is the little bit thats shown on the OUATIM DVD extras about orchestration, but then he does an interview at 4am in the morning by himself, just himself. His sense of humour just tickles my fancy, I love it. Then theres a Live concert in Germany in front 150,000 people for Tito and Tarantula, woah, that'll float your boat. 150,000 people chanting for Robert, just amazing. Then there is a music video of Del Castillo who performed Dias de Los Angeles on the OUATIM soundtrack, these two are the most fantastic guitar players, there is no guitar overdubs, their fingers really fly to make the sound you hear. Then the music on the cd is just fabulous, 14 tracks including the main title for OUATIM. This is what RR wrote about this piece - "I didn't include this piece on the first Mexico soundtrack because I hadn't finished the cue. I had always meant to add bass, drums and some additional guitars and percussion. I wish I'd had time to make it sound like this for the movie. Here it is, finally completed (with the help of Chigon) as originally envisioned." Its pretty good! If you want to know anything else, let me know and I'll type out what he says about it. If I were you I'd buy it

I bet Amazon's got it. Or your local music store--they'll be able to order it if they don't have it in stock.
