Okay, I am having a hard time persuading me mum to let me get this movie. It's rated R but it says there isn't any "stuff" in it (if you will). She's a little strict! Does anyone know how I could persuade me mum to let me see it?

Start a petition! They always usually work! ;D Or you can make like those cool slideshows off of "PowerPoint" and show the pros and cons[if they're any] of the movie, and use peoples reviews of the movie. If your gonna go with the petition, you can always make one from www.petitiononline.com/

Well, the thing is, if that's the rule in your house, then you really should abide by it. OUATIM will be there forever--certainly once you turn 18. It's rated R for violence (pretty bloody) and language (a lot of the F word). If your mom is opposed to you seeing that just yet, then, well, I wouldn't buck her on it. She's more important than Johnny, oh, yes she is!

Thanks for your help! I don't think a petition is very nice lol. Sorry. I think I can wait to see it when you put it like that. Yes, my mum is much more important to me than Johnny. I'm just a fanatic...I don't even know him lol. Yeah, I'll wait a few years. My mum might let me see it if she sees it first (or my dad) anyways! Thanks!

Hee! I missed your first post when I posted mine, HF! ;D Megs, I think you've hit the best idea right there. If your mom or dad is willing to watch it and preview it for you, they might let you see it. It all depends on their tolerance level for violence and the F word. I'm not big on the F word myself and wish Johnny would use it a lot less!

I second that, I wasnt alowed to watch that kind of stuff till I was 16 without my Mamma watching it first. Im not a big fan of the F word either, but sometimes it slips, I hate how people use it so randomly, some people use it as every other word. Anyway, I agree, it does suck that you cant watch it, but trust me, its not worth gettin worked up over it. I had to wait to see alot of movies like that unless my Mamma either watched them with me and told me to cover my eyes (yes she made me do that till I was about 15) or she watched it before me and said yes or no...

Thanks, JCD. ;D What's nice about movies is they're always around and always just as good--whether it's the day they open or 20 years later.
