Rather have it stay right where it is, thanks. I still appreciate good Mexican and don't want anybody/thing scaring away possible cooks! And that goes for Sands too.

Curse my town that doesn't allow terrible fast food Mexican goodness. Little Mexico is too good to lose. And its location beside 'The Flying Cow' ice cream parlour is sacred.

Something tells me Mexican really wouldn't matter in the grand scheme of excellent food. I'd think being a cook in general would be hazardous to one's health. *Is really very happy that she can't cook for carp.*

Hola, amigos. Just popping in to say that mexican food is best when served traditional. Oh! And if you're ever in Corpus Christi, Texas, try and look up Casa de Tacos. If you all are looking for the best mexican food around, that's my whole family's number one pick. Taco Bell is okay, too. But at least the chefs in those places don't get shot for cooking well. *loosens collar* Ha ha, makes -ahem- you little *cough* apprehensive about learning to cook edible food... it's a dangerous game, to be sure. Maybe in our eyes that chef didn't need to get shot for cooking great puerco pibil, but Sands' eyes thought so. Oh maybe now his opinion's changed on the whole matter since he... no longer... has... eyes... All things aside, it must have been a real shock to the chef to be shot thrice by a handsome man in sunglasses. The only shame in the matter is that he never knew WHY he got shot. Almost as shameful as raisins, it is. -Izzy

He'd have a bit of a time finding the cook so it'd have to be extra special if he's to be bothered. Or that'd be my logic. Would you want to know you got shot because you made excellent pibil? Or... considering some other things you could get shot by him for, that'd have to be some kind of compliment, right?

I was watching the movie again for the millionth time and something occurred to me: We don't know for sure that the cook died! After all, Gen. Marquez got shot in the heart and lived. Perhaps Sands was just trying to disable the cook in order to reduce the quality of his future pork dishes.
