Yes, I love the image of El walking down that road with the Mexican flag draped over his shoulder. It kind of brings his character full circle.

That reminds me, I wanted to make an El graphic.

Would you laugh at me terribly if I told you that for the longest time I thought he was wiping his mouth on the flag? This was before I owned the movie and could watch it repeatedly, but you'd understand it if it struck me as odd that he'd go through the trouble of sticking up for his country only to slobber all over the flag, right? Or...maybe you don't, but it's ok. I can dig it. Watched the original El Mariachi recently and I still giggled like crazy. That turtle rocks.

For obvious reasons I like OUATIM best, because maybe I saw it at an age where I actually understand whats going on, and Johnny was in it, but I'm going to say Desperado because that was the first one I saw in the trilogy, and its where I fell in love with Antonio Banderas. Of course, I saw it when I was like 6 and had no idea what was going on, but I liked all the explosions and yelling and cursing and Antonio ;D

Considering the fact that Once Upon A Time In Mexico is the only one of the trilogy that I've actually SEEN I guess I'm a little biased I voted for it anyway, but I think maybe I'll try and watch the other two sometime.

El Mariachi was good too. I still can't get over the fact that it was made for only $7,000. That's AMAZING. I didn't like the guy who played El as much though. He wasn't as "rough around the edges" like Antonio is. He didn't give El the edge he needed.

Dont misunderstand, I love Johnny in this movie. But
I voted "Desperado". Take out all the Sands scenes and see what's left, and you'll understand why I chose it. Desperado is just a much more compelling story line. I wish OUATIM had included more of El and Carolina.
