I've decided that George Yepes (the artist that provided the paintings for the Day of the Dead parade) needs his own thread in here. I just love this man's work. I fell in love with it the first time I saw OUATIM, and I still do. It's so very beautiful in a tragic way. Here's some of my favorites:

Wow. Are those paintings, Psnoo? Because if they are, George is very, very skilled with the brush. Beautifully sad. He could be painting his soul. very deep.

This is my favorite: It's so terrifically dangerous and beautiful. I always wanted to know what this guy's name was.

Whoa! I'd never seen that one before... How does he do that? Yeah, it's dangerous, beautiful though... The man and the woman... Their two hearts, her hands over her body, also covering her heart, holding the gun..

Oh an official site! Great, now we can really explore.
I agree completely Psnoo, beautiful and tragic. I had the same reaction when I saw Ouatim, actually paused and zoomed in on the potrait.
