I thought it was really sad the treatment that they used for the old man and the young lady... it really didn't help that much did it? I mean they never got to lead normal lives after that? I think they should have just been spared from their suffering...... I know what you mean Roo... well to start it off Ann didnt deserve it... she was well.. innocent... well.. not exactly but you know what I mean.. as for Sir William Gull... I dont know... I mean it made sense in that time to do it... now that we know what we know its different... but yeah

I agree with everybody. Victorian timed medicine = bad. Modern medicine = good. And I'm glad I made your day, TR. Though I can't really imagine... how...

Wow that's hard to explain... but why do I keep trying? We already understand! ....lol.... Oh no Artisan.... not all modern medicine is good.... I've definitely been through a lot of horrendous stuff... no one should need to suffer through... But things CERTAINLY have improved

I'm still not at all convinced that there was anything romantic about that movie at all. Call me a cynic, but Abberline just struck me as a guy who'd been through smeep, but who still gets way too caught up in the circumstances around him, and if he'd known Ms. Mary Kelly for a nice length of non-life-threatening time, he wouldn't have ended up biting the big one at the end.
