I couldn't stop feeling bad for him cause everyone wanted to use him, and on top of that, they thought he was mentally challenged or something! I mean I get teased a lot, but never to the extent of getting chased outa the neighborhood by an angry mab! Sheesh, I feel bad for that boy. He probably wouldn't want my pity, but gee wilickers, I'd give it to him for free any day!

I think a better question might be who wouldn't feel bad for Edward I mean...He's such a gentle harmless person. I think that if you don't feel bad for him at the end of the movie your just not normal! It made me cry too!

I think the movie really had a true message behidn the whole fantasy fairy tale thing of it. I mean it's a very real human reaction...people fear what they don't understand anythig different scares them so they don't like it... It's one of the sadder aspects of life because maybe if people looked a little deeper well, maybe we'd have more appreciation for the real life Edwards of this world. Great, now I'm getting all psychology don't mind me!

Hehe, it's ok, that's right! It's like a satire of the world and how un-accepting we are.. we look to look beyond our exterior and find the true beauty inside

OK, I will be honest, even though I'm going to have to run for my life after saying this:
Didn't feel sorry for Edward. In fact, I thought the entire movie was just kind of strange. I sat and watched, and laughed, but didn't cry. I think it was all kinda ruined for me when I realized that the 'old woman' at the beginning was Wynonna, and I asked, "What is this? Couldn't they afford a real old lady?"
So. There you have it.
*runs*

Thanks for the mental picture, luv.

HA! ;D I hated her as that old lady too. I could tell it was her... and it didn't work for me. *does a double take and runs to pop the DVD in* That was her!? Wow, I feel stupid and unobservant! ;D Anyhoo, yeah I felt bad for Edward at points. He was such an innocent guy that was taken advantage of so many times. So sad when he answers her that one time, "Because you asked me too." (Or something to that effect)
