Certainly with you there folks. I had a real lump in my throat for poor Edward. He could come live here & trim the dogs!!! Would love a sequel with a happy ending though.

I can't watch the film too often because it makes me feel too sad at the end I don't like the thought of him all alone forever but the whole film was about how he couldn't become part of society so I don't think a happy ending would have been possible, although if someone could come up with one I'd love to go along with it. ;D

There is so much talk of integrating people into society so I think that modern twist would work but I know what you mean about the ending & it is somehow a cult classic so a sequel would perhaps spoil it in someways. I find it such a sad film as someone else said I cannot watch it too much as I cry so much but reckon Johnny would do it if Tim directed a sequel..lets make him some hands & he can open a dog grooming parlour but keep those women away he is MINE lol

Uh oh.... Batty.... let's just hope LM&M doesn't see that post! But I must say I agree with opening the grooming parlor... I would stop by often with all of my pets!
I'm no good with scissors.... and Edward has that mastered! I'm not even good at cutting a bridle path for my horses... lol

I felt sooo bad for Edward...I must say that the more evil stuff he was put throught the more I found myself falling in love with him throughout the movie. I couldn't believe it when she left him up there...I am still upset and I haven't seen it in like 6 months...I should really go buy that. Telluride

Oh, isn't it amazing how you can continuously fall in love over and over again with Edward? And keep feeling bad for him time after time... Tim Burton's film is a masterpiece... and timeless... I'm sure it will be a classic for years to come

Oh, poor Edward I felt sooo bad for him, (cried during the whole end) I mean he is just such an innocent and harmless person. He wanna be loved, and have friends. Everytime I watch the film I would like to jump in the screen, and beat the ladies of the whole neighbourhood up. What a fake society, but the film shows, how manipulable people are. Well btt, poor Edward *hugshim* Kiss kari

I know what you mean. I felt so sorry for him. I swear everyone was making him do stuff for them and treated him like he was a baby. I mean I felt so bad for him. I would have been alot nicer to him. And treated him like a human being,

Perhaps someone should have just taken initiative and made him some hands...or even a hand then at least he wouldn't have been shunned at the end. (It's late, I just rewatched it and I was crying all the way through the last scene. I'm not overtired noooooooooooooo)
