Hi all! I'm posting the soundtrack to Gilbert Grape. I know many of us here on the board really love the music in the film, so I figured I might as well.

It's not an actual soundtrack - there is no actual soundtrack released for the film. This is a rip from the DVD, so there's dialogue and other sounds in between, but the music's there and that's what matters!

The quality is very good. This isn't my rip, I found it - I might rip it myself later on. For the time-being, however, here's the link (it's a RAR file, and the tracks are mp3s).

Once again, there is dialogue and some other sounds. As well, there's a lot of space between the action (meaning that from the opening titles it goes directly to Gilbert and Becky's date, and from Gilbert seeing Becky with Arnie in the water it goes directly to burning the house - so it isn't very consistent or understandable without knowing the film very well). Also, some music isn't included - "match in the gas tank", for example, isn't there at all. However, as I said, I might rip this myself later and include more.

Warning, Arnie is doubly painful to hear without actually seeing him.

However, that aside, enjoy. There really is no soundtrack, so this is quite rare - listen and try to be happy
