Ah yes, that minor technicality... I don't suppose anyone lives next door to him, eh?

I also hear Johnny is going to have to move in with Hunter again, like he did for F+L. That should be interesting. Hunter S. Thompson lives like...4 hours from the city I live in. The city I live in is like right infront of the mountains, and the place he lives in is right up past the mountains. WOOT WOOT!! i kno, but, hehehe, so exciting!!

I. Will. Read. The Rum. Diary. As soon as possible, mind you. I'm awfully glad that movie jumped into my mind just now or else I'd never have thought to read the book! And uh... from the earliest posts it seems now that I can't do anything BUT read it. But, until I can get to a library, I'm going to go to Amazon.com and read the sample excerpts they've always got posted there. It's really handy people, I recommend it. -Izzy

Oh wow! I just read the excrept on Amazon and it was, oh so, good. *shifty eyes* I can walk to a library, can't I? It can't be too far...
*pulls up suspenders, wipes chin, puts on her Enrique hat, and starts out into the terrible blizzard that circles her house*
Wish me luck,

I bring news.
Benicio Del Toro isn't directing The Rum Diary anymore. Now it's this guy named Bruce Robinson. He's British (woo hoo!) and apparently has more acting on his film history than directing. All this I know from imdb.com, who updated the Rum Diary's status on Feburary 15th of this year.

A thought about Hartnett: I had my doubts about the casting choice for Yeamon in the Rum Diary. A south pacific fishing net full of doubts. But no more! After seeing Josh Hartnett strut his stuff (and that mustache) in Sin City, my mind is clear. I think he's up to the job. I just never really thought he'd be able to pull off that whole semi-sexist smeep figure. But... he did. The Rum Diary should be great. ;D

You know the cartoons with their tongue hanging out and eyes bulging out of their skull? That's me the last couple of weeks! I really didn't like Paul Kemp in the book, but I'm sure I will like Johnny's version of him. One more film I can't wait to see!
