It's official, Johnny has signed on to do "The Diving Bell and The Butterfly", set to be released in 2006. Not sure how I feel about that, LOL, but I suppose the more movies the merrier. www.imdb.com/title/tt0401383/combinedHere's another little interesting little tidbit aside from Johnny signing on for "The Diving Bell and The Butterfly", he'll be returning to Directing in 2005 w/ "Paris, je t'aime". It's said it's going to be made in France but the language will be English. www.imdb.com/title/tt0401711/combinedWhat's also odd is that Johnny is one of 15 directors listed. LOL! Others include Woody Allen, Jean-Luc Godard & Sally Potter. Odd but true. ~Scarlett

Here's RB's post from the duplicated thread--didn't want to lose it. J"ohnny Depp portrays Elle France editor Jean-Dominique Bauby, who, in 1995 at the age of 43, suffered a stroke that paralyzed his entire body, save his left eye. Using that eye to blink out his memoir, Bauby eloquently described the aspects of his interior world, from the psychological torment of being trapped inside his body to his imagined stories from lands he'd only visited in his mind." Just thought I would share this with all of you guys I found it at imdb.com I was checking through his movie list an I happened to see this one had been added to it. I believe acording to resources I saw at imdb that it as just been annouced they have not started any filming or anything yet. Who know maybe one of you guys know more about this then I do but anyway just wanted to share if I find anything else I will add on to this thread.

Has anyone else read the book? It's so beautiful...I read it a few days ago. It's such a remarkable achievement.
