Oh my goodness I could go on for days talking about Cesar... he is just amazing... It is probably one of Johnny's shortest roles... but oh so wonderful and he has such an impact on the entire film. And WHAT A LOVER!!!

oh I absolutely love this movie!! I saw it a few months ago and I got it for Christmas... it has such a deep meaning behind it and ifs filled with so much hapiness, hatred, lonliness, passion, and everything else under the moon... I loved Cesar's role also... quite... but very very sexy

Yes I know that in the films he rides the horses. I'm sure he has stunt doubles for when they stand up on the horse, but other than that it's really him. But I have no idea if he does so in real life....

Yay, another Cesar-lover! Yes, it's a great movie, isn't it? Besides the important story behind the movie, the movie itself is wonderful. I love Cesars relationship with Susie, it's all so special and it all goes so deep without using many words. Like you said. Ah yes, the horses I love it when Dante gets mad at the horses for smeepting on 'his' stage, how arrogant! I love how Susie then stands up for Cesar and how Cesar doesn't want her help.. That's a great scene.. It's not a very popular movie though, that's too bad. :/ It's got such a great story to tell Have you read Roo's thoughts on the movie? She has a real talent for describing things, it's brilliant.

Yes!!!!!!! #cheerleader# We are no longer alone, PH!! It has been so quiet for too long Thanks for advocating my thread I do tend to put a lot of thought into the films that I love (and this one marks the top of the list ) In fact I showed it to my boyfriend recently and we were both sobbing with Cesar, because it felt so real (due to my illness I nearly died and he was petrified of losing me) and he said at the end "I didn't like it" and I looked at him sideways, "What do you mean, Sweetheart?" ... "It ended too soon" he added and wiped a tear off of my cheek "I loved it" he whispered Roo

It's been way too quiet in here, but I guess there just aren't that many people out there that have seen the movie. Or perhaps they have and just don't like it that much (I can't really imagine that, though : Of course I did, you're brilliant! That is so sweet! Sounds like you've got the perfect boyfriend I can imagine the movie must be even more impressive for you two... I'm glad he loved it ;D

I am really surprised it wasn't release more widely and well known as it was in the 2000s... And those are all huge names, I would have expected a big publicity buildup, but I literally do not remember one commercial for it. Maybe it's lack of success in viewing was due to publicity.

Me neither. I would probably have never heard about this movie if I hadn't discovered Johnny's talent! Thank god I did discover it, because I love this movie to pieces!
