Okay, question...if you were Christina Ricci, wouldn't you have like found some way to be with Cesar? She could have gone to find her father and then like married him or something and they could have been one gib happpy gypsey family! IDK, but that made me mad, he looked so upset when he woke up.

I was a bit displeased she left Cesar, but I abdoltuely loved this movie. I first saw it around the beginning of 2002, and then completely forgot about it, but my friend bought me the DVD the other day as just a random present [She must want somethin ] and I was completely blown away- for the second time.

I loved the film and found it more emotionally intense than most romantic movies I've seen in quite awhile. The Nazis killed most of the Gypsies (or Roma as they prefer to be called) so if she had stayed it would have been a death sentence. I can't help thinking Cesar knew this and really wanted her to survive. Kind of like Titanic..which BTW I thought was cheesy...but he told her to let go and she did and had this great life.

OKay even though it was a pretty cool, unique movie, I have to admit it was a little boring and I had trouble getting into it...unless Johnny was on it.

I can't stand Cate Blanchett in almost all of her movies that I have seen, not meaning any offense Axel.

none taken PW... i have HATED her in most of her films... LOTR for sure! ... lol! ....but i really liked her in this one... cause i have a lot of russian friends and stuff... and they seemed to remind me a lot of them... in ways... but i don't take offense at all... we all have diff. opinions and that's what makes discussions & forums so great
